What is the FFNS League?
Free Fire Nusantara Series (FFNS) is an official tier-B tournament that Garena held nationally (online and offline) at the lowest level.
To get to this level, usually the team esports have already become regular champions of third-party competitions – generally in tier-C to D.
Those who feel competitive enough will then try to progress to a more serious realm, and one of these is the annual FFNS tournament that Garena holds.
This is where other competing teams, which already have mid-tier to top national rankings, will compete – including various teams under the auspices of giant management.
FFNS 2026 Details
FFNS itself is an event that Garena It's used to scout new esports talent. Its reach extends to many regions, areas, and provinces.
To participate, participants will have to complete several rounds. Here are the detailed formats for the 2026 FFNS, as summarized by VCGamers:
Offline Round
Offline Qualifier (district/city level)
Taking place in 88 regencies/cities across Indonesia over four weeks (January 17–February 8), 144 teams from 12 regions will advance to the next round.
Region Qualifier (regional/provincial level)
At this stage, Garena will further refine 24 teams (two from each region/province). They will compete in the Play-Ins round against the champions from the other rounds.
Online Qualifier Round
Twelve teams will compete in this round. They will compete in the final on February 20th. From there, only the first-place finisher will advance to the Play-Ins.
Guild War Qualifier Round
This round will feature 24 teams. The finals will be held over two days, February 21-22. From there, the top four teams will earn direct entry to the Play-Ins.
Miscellaneous Chapter
In addition to the three rounds above, there are also two other tickets to the Play-ins round that teams can get by winning the Mas Sukro Cup Season 2 and Garena Youth Championship 2025.
FFNS 2026 Format and Grand Final
From the various descriptions above, there will be a total of 36 teams that will play in the FFNS 2026 Play-ins round. All of them will compete in three groups (12 teams each).
Each group will compete in six matches for the top three positions. The nine teams that secure those positions will advance to the Grand Final.
This year's Grand Final will take place in Palembang, South Sumatra, next March. Several other teams will also be participating (12 in total).
In addition to those who qualified from the Play-ins round, three additional teams will compete, namely: 2 (3rd place and runner-up) from FFNS 2025 Fall and 1 more team (fifth place) from FFWS SEA 2025 Fall.
The team that emerges as the first winner will receive a ticket to participate in the Free Fire World Series 2026 Spring qualifying round for the ASEAN region in April.
