How to Farm Elden Ring Runes

To do farming runes, you can follow some of the steps or methods that we mention below so you don't get confused.

Fort Faroth

There is an Elder Dragon in the Elden Ring that sits on a cliff very close to Fort Faroth in Caelid. This dragon just sits in one place and does not move under any circumstances.

All the player needs to do is walk up to it and start hitting it with bloody weapons. Bloody weapons are kind of a must because dragons have a lot of health, and without the bloody status effect proc, it takes a long time to kill it.

After the dragon died, it immediately dropped around 50,000 runes for players. To reach the dragon, players must first teleport to the Bestial Sanctum of Marika's Third Church in Limgrave.

Then you should cross Farum Greatbridge, turn right, take the cloudlift for the Torrent, and the dragon should be directly ahead. It's important to remember that this is cheese and can only be done once.

Lenne's Rise

This was a method players could consistently earn 2000 runes every minute. The place can be found just outside Lenne's Rise in Caelid.

Right in front of Lenne's Rise, there is a path that goes down the hill. If you walk a little, a rolling ball appears behind them like an ambush. However, you have to turn 90 degrees while dodging the balls as soon as they appear.

The ball rolls off the cliff, and players will get 2000 runes instantly. Fortunately, a boon site is nearby, which means players can keep doing it over and over and earn around 100,000 runes in 30 minutes.

Moghwyn Palace

Moghwyn Palace is a rune farm that players will find in the Moghwyn Palace area, just outside the “Place Approach Ledge Road” bounty site.

To get to this place earlier, you must complete a small side quest which can be obtained from White Mask Varre in Limgrave.

Once you reach the mercy site mentioned above, they will see a cliff on the left. On the other side of the cliff, there is an area where players will see a bird walking around.

Shooting this bird with an arrow will trigger it to run towards the player while falling off a cliff and drop 13200 runes. You can keep doing it over and over again to earn several thousand runes in a matter of minutes.

As mentioned above, the location of this farming rune is right near the same area where you will be farming birds. Instead of looking down the cliff, if players walked a bit from the boon site, they would see many enemies sleeping and doing nothing.

All the player needs to do is bring in an area of effect spell or something like rock slinging magic and start killing all these enemies.

They are very harmless and drop a lot of runes. This location is one of the main areas for rune farming as players can kill these birds and mobs at the same time.

Trolls

The last Elden Ring rune farming location to watch out for is the trolls in Stormhill. This area is one of the easiest to reach, although not as efficient as the one mentioned earlier.

Right near the Warmaster's Shack site, players will find five giant trolls roaming the large area.

Killing every drop of 1000 runes at once, and you can earn about 5000 runes in one go. It takes a little time, but a lot of these runes are not bad at the start of the game.
