On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Brad Smith as president of Microsoft revealed that his company had just collaborated with Nintendo. And it was revealed that one of the contents of the collaboration was the release of Call of Duty on the Nintendo Switch console. 

The collaboration will last for 10 years. Where the goal is to bring products from Activision, which are currently in the process of being acquired by Microsoft, to be played on more other game platforms.

Later, Nintendo users can enjoy the Call of Duty game on their console, just like on other consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation. Obviously this will be good news for users Nintendo Switch.

Problems with the Activision Blizzard Acquisition Process

However, until now, Microsoft's acquisition process for Activision Blizzard has not been completed. Because in the acquisition process, Microsoft has faced many challenges from various parties with diverse backgrounds, such as Sony, Nvidia, Google, to the European Union. 

The reason why these parties don't want Activision Blizzard to be acquired by Microsoft is that they don't want it Call of Duty will be monopolized by Microsoft itself. So, until now it is not certain when the acquisition process will be completed. 

So that makes the CoD game to launch immediately on the Nintendo Switch uncertain. However, as fans and gamers, of course we both hope that this game will soon launch on this console made by Nintendo.
