Official! Here is the MPL ID S9 Playoff Schedule and Brackets

MPL Indonesia has officially released the MPL ID S9 Bracket line-up after ending the round regular season and will soon start the playoffs.

Mobile Legends be one games the most popular in Indonesia with many communities spread across various regions.

With so many enthusiasts, Moonton finally presents an official competition called MPL for those who want to appear in the competitive Mobile Legends scene. In addition, this competition is also looking for talented players who will later become pro player.

MPL ID is the highest level competition from the Mobile Legends scene in Indonesia. This competition can be the starting point for the team to be able to step up to the international level.

It's only natural that all the big participating teams will exert their best strategy on each other to be able to bring home trophies and appear in international competitions.

This year, the competition has entered its 9th season, the series of matches starting on 18 February 2022.

It doesn't feel like MPL ID S9 has ended its 8th week, which means round regular season has ended with a number of teams that managed to qualify for the Playoffs.

On the other hand, the team at the bottom of the board seems to have to leave this competition and stop fighting for the MPL ID trophy.

With this super tight round, the strong teams will of course present fierce duels and provide exciting entertainment for the spectators.

MPL ID S9 brackets

As you all know, MPL ID S9 will now enter a new round, namely the Playoffs after going through regular season for 8 weeks.

During the 8 week battle, there were 6 teams that successfully secured their positions to advance to the Playoffs.

On the other hand, the 2 teams at the bottom of the standings, namely Rebellion Zion and Geek Fam, must be willing to go home first and finish their run in MPL ID S9.

The 6 teams that qualified for the Playoff phase included RRQ Hoshi, ONIC Esports, Aura Fire, EVOS Legends, Alter Ego, and Bigetron Alpha.

The top occupants who occupy first and second positions, namely RRQ Hoshi and ONIC Esports managed to secure Upper Bracket slots. So, the two teams will only wait in the Upper Bracket.

Meanwhile, the other 4 teams will compete against each other in the phase play-in fighting over the Upper Bracket slot to face the two teams that were waiting for them first.

The team that managed to achieve victory in the phase play-in will enter the Upper Bracket, while the losing team will have to lift their luggage from the MPL competition this season.

On the other hand, a team that fails to win in the Upper Bracket will drop to the Lower Bracket position. While the team that loses in the Lower Bracket will immediately be eliminated from the Playoff round.

Until finally the two winning teams from the Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket will face each other in the final.

The Playoffs will use the BO5 format (best of 5), both Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket matches. Meanwhile, the final round will use the B07 format (best of 7).

MPL ID S9 Playoff Schedule

Apart from releasing the MPL ID S9 bracket lineup, MPL Indonesia via an upload on Instagram also simultaneously released the match schedule.

After ending the round regular season, MPL ID S9 will first take a break for 1 week. After the break, the competition continued with the Playoff round.

So, this Playoff round is planned to roll over for 4 days from 21 to 24 April 2022. During this round, of course, the remaining teams will appear all-out in order to lift this prestigious trophy.

Match 1 (21 April 2022): Aura Fire vs Bigetron Alpha (at 14.00)

Match 2 (21 April 2022): EVOS Legends vs Alter Ego (at 18.30)

MPL ID S9 Playoff Day 2

Match 3 (22 April 2022): ONIC Esports vs the winner of Match 1 (at 14.00)

Match 4 (22 April 2022): RRQ Hoshi vs the winner of Match 2 (at 18.30)

MPL ID S9 Playoff Day 3

Match 5 (23 April 2022): Team that lost in Match 3 vs Team that lost in Match 4 (at 14.00)

Final Upper (23 April 2022): Winner of Match 3 vs Winner of Match 4 (at 18.30)

Day 4 (Lower Final and Grand Final)

Final Lower (24 April 2022): Team that loses in Match 5 vs. Team that loses in Final Upper (at 11.30am)

Grand Final (24 April 2022): Upper Final Winner vs Lower Final Winner (16.00)
