Rafayel is a talented artist who is 24 years old. Not only talented, he is also popular in the public because of his charming appearance.
In addition to painting, Rafayel sometimes becomes a guest lecturer at several universities. He teaches art classes to other young artists.
This character spends most of his time at home painting or traveling to remote places on the edge of the world to seek inspiration.
Rafayel has a friendly and cheerful nature. He often teases MC and likes to act spoiled to her. Although, sometimes Rafayel will look childish and ignore his responsibilities in order to see whatever catches his attention.
He often ignores the schedule that has been arranged by his manager, Thomas, and prefers to do other things. For example, swimming in the sea and collecting shells.
Behind his playful and childish attitude, Rafayel actually holds a deep grudge against the human race. However, this does not apply to MC.

Rafayel's Past
There are not many details about this character's past except that it is seen in the mythology story as a Lemurian or mermaid.

In one of the chapters, there is a scene about Rafayel's past where he was a teenager and met the MC when he was stranded on the beach.
The two then chatted with each other and played together for some time. Before leaving, MC promised that he would always remember Rafayel and visit him every year at the same time.
Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond his control, the MC lost all memory of his promise. Thus, he never returned to the beach again.
Even though the MC didn't come, Rafayel still remembered the promise and always came to the same beach every year. Until finally he realized that the MC had forgotten all about him.
Several years later, the two finally meet again as adults. Rafayel helps her catch a small red fish that they name Reddie.
Rafayel and Lemurian Mythology
In the Myth story in Love and Deepspace, Rafayel is the last God of the Sea. He was born in Lemuria, a city under the deep sea.
The city has its own sun under the sea which is connected to the sea god and is also the source of its power.
After the previous God of the Sea died, Rafayel became his successor. He was the only Lemurian who mastered the ability to manipulate fire.
While he is still technically a sea god, his powers will not activate until Rafael fully bonds with his most devout follower or someone he loves.
Once Rafael successfully bonds himself with the person he loves, he will transform into the spirit of a sea god and regain all his powers and responsibilities.
