Mydei HSR Build: Party Recommendation. Trace, Relic, Eidolon

One of the Chrysos Heirs, Mydei, is the third Amphoreus character released by Honkai Star Rail (HSR) this.

Said to have similar gameplay mechanics to Blade, the last prince of Castrum Kremnos is said to be a newer, more powerful version. Even getting a call like the “Pro Max” type of Blade.

Mydei HSR Trace Capability Priority

Mydei is a DPS destruction solid. Chrysos Heir of Nikador's gameplay mechanics are actually nothing new. 

The system of sacrificing one's own HP has actually been done by Blade to deal DMG from using Skills. 

What makes it different is that Mydei's Skill will be stronger if Mydei has more Charge stacks. 

Charge is obtained from HP that decreases from using Skill. Although Mydei's HP continues to decrease, Mydei's HP limit will remain at HP 1 so that Skill will not kill the character.

This skill has 3 stacks that differentiate the DMG output given, namely:

• Stack 1 (Deaths are Legion, Regrets are None): Reduces Mydei's HP by 50% and increases Imaginary DMG by 45% from max HP to 1 to one main target and 25% to targets around the main enemy. 
• Stack 2 (Kingslayer Be King): Reduces Mydei's HP by 35% and increases Imaginary DMG by 55% from max HP to 1 to one main target and 33% to targets around the main enemy. 
• Stack 3 (Godslayer Be God): Using 150 Charge Points collected from HP reduction, deals Imaginary DMG equal to 140% of Mydei's Max HP to 1 main enemy target and Imaginary DMG equal to 84% of Mydei's Max HP to surrounding enemies. 

DMG can also be obtained from Ultimate which can restore Mydei's HP as well as enter the active Vendetta status as a Talent that can attack enemies randomly.

If we look at Trace Mydei's superior abilities, it can be concluded that you should prioritize Skill > Ultimate > Talent.

Mydei Honkai Star Rail Build Recommendations

If we look at Trace, Mydei's build will focus on reducing HP to increase DMG through Skill. So, this pomegranate juice plus milk lover build focuses on optimizing both of these things.

Eidolon Recommendations

Without Eidolon, Mydei is already very good to support and buff DPS characters in your team considering the DMG Input given is calculated based on DMG.

 If you want Mydei to be stronger, the recommended Eidolons that you can target to get are:

• Eidolon 1 (E1): Characters and summons from characters who have received buffs will be able to ignore enemy DEF, resulting in even greater DMG. 
• Eidolon 6 (E6): Mydei's talent can be stacked more, changing the excess Crit Rate into Crit DMG so that the DMG becomes greater

Relic, Ornament, and Light Cone Recommendations

Mydei will need HP so you really need the HP stat. In addition, SPD, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, Imaginary DMG are also very good to be the focus of your relic and ornament stats.

The focus of Mydei's build is on Skill, so the relic that I think is most suitable is Scholar Lost in Erudition. This Relic is good because it increases Skill DMG plus increases Crit Rate.

An alternative relic that you can use is Longevous Disciple to maximize Mydei's total HP.

For Planar Ornament you can use Bone Collection's Serene or Rutilant Arena with the main stat being Imaginary DMG or HP.

Flame of Blood, Blaze My Path becomes the best Light Cone that the author recommends for Mydei because it increases HP and DMG from Ultimate + Skill. Other alternatives are:

• Flames Afar
• A Secret Vow
• Collapsing Sky

Best Team Recommendations

Although Mydei will not die from using Skills that continuously reduce HP, keep in mind that enemy attacks can certainly kill Mydei.

So, you at least need a healer who can keep Mydei's HP in a safe position.

In addition, buffer characters that provide buffs such as Advanced Forward and Energy Regen rate boosts are also very good for Mydei.
