Latest Update ML Patch Note 1.8.08 Details, What's New?

New Update ML Patch Note 1.8.08

This update was released on August 8, 2023 in the afternoon. The first thing that is visible is the replacement of the loading screen page which previously had a picture of the new Marksman (MM). Ixia, changed to the appearance of three new skins which can later be obtained through the “Beyond the Clouds Series” event.

New Things in Mobile Legends Update

Of course this update hasn't changed the meta as a whole. Meta cores Fighters 'barbarian' and 'crash' Tanks still dominate the Land of Dawn.

It could even be said, the current meta strengthens various 'remaining' Fighters who previously did not get a place in high tier habitats (Legend and above).

Meta DPS-lifesteal-burst

As explained above, Moonton wants the DPS-Lifesteal-Burst meta hero to return. Because of that, some items that increase Attack Speed and Lifesteal get additional Critical effects.

Apart from that, the existence of the Scarlet Phantom item was also replaced with Zilong's 'typical' item, the Great Dragon Spear.

The focus of this physical item is reducing Cooldown (CD), as well as adding Critical. Not only that, his Passive also boosts Movement Speed which can be activated right after using the ulti: really a must item for Zilong!

Buffs, Nerfs and Revamped Heroes

Just look at names like Natalia, Aulus, Alucard, Yu Zhong, Zilong, Leomord, and Ruby, who were buffed and revamped.

Not only that, several other Attack Speed and Critical heroes also share the sweetness of the buff, such as Ixia the new hero, and Irithel. Several mage heroes also did not escape Moonton's attention: Odette and Lylia.

• Nerf

For those on nerf, Moonton chose various heroes who still appear too frequently (even though they've wanted to keep them in a 'cave' for a long time).

Some of them like Ling, Yve, and also Arlott. Besides that, several heroes who 'accidentally' became meta were also weakened: Alpha, and Freya.

•  Adjustment

Some of the heroes were adjusted due to changes in the new talent system and this time's update: Nana, Vexana, and Faramis (the three of them were made to make them stronger as early-mid game midlaners); as well as Aldous and Alice (it's easier to collect stacks, so you can go directly to the EXP Lane without having to ask for the Mid Early Game).

EXP Gain Changes

And the last is the EXP scheme in the early game. The current meta will require gaining more EXP to reach level 2-4. But as a balance, for levels 4-6, the required EXP will be reduced.

In addition, various Creeps in the Jungle (Horned Lizard, Fire Beetle, and Lava Golem) have their EXP rewards increased so that Junglers can level up faster. However, this 'convenience' is of course balanced with more 'responsibility' for the Jungler.
