The nine gangs are Aldecaldos (Spain), Maelstrom (Cybernetic), The Mox (Sex Vendors), Voodoo Boys (Haitian Netrunner), Tyger Claws (Japan), 6th Street Gang (originally called “Good guys”), Wraiths (paramilitary organization ), Valentinos (Italy), and Animals (Muscle Power).

Finally there is the Scavengers group, but they are not ordinary scavengers, but they are a group whose job is to collect implants from the victims of the nine gangs.
