Henna Berry is a local specialty of Sumeru that is famous for its ability to survive in extreme conditions. This fruit can thrive even in the harshest desert environments, making you even more curious about its uniqueness, right?

With its striking crimson color, Henna Berry looks even more stunning when contrasted against the yellow sands of the Sumeru desert.

This fruit is not only beautiful, but also an important ingredient for character ascension such as Kaveh and Layla.

So, if you are exploring Sumeru, don't forget to look for this fruit. Besides being useful, its appearance is also very instagenic.

Henna Berry Locations

There are 102 of them all over Sumeru, especially around Aaru Village and Dar Al-Shifa. The fruit is plump, dark red, and usually appears near tall cacti.

This item only grows in the Sumeru Desert, mainly in two main areas:

Aaru Village – The Most Crowded Spot

Around Aaru Village, Henna Berries grow abundantly. Usually, you can find 3-5 berries per spot near tall cacti. Some strategic locations:

Near Aaru Village Waypoint: From here, run northeast, there are some Henna Berries around the rocks.
Path to the Graveyard: Along this path, several Henna Berries are hiding behind cacti.
Around Small Oasis: There are 2-3 clusters of Henna Berries near the water.

Dar Al-Shifa – Efficient Farming!

This area is also a favorite for Henna Berry farming. Some of the best spots:

Near Dar Al-Shifa Waypoint: Exit the waypoint, check around the sand dunes, there are 4-5 Henna Berries.
Path to Ruin Golem: Along this path, Henna Berries frequently appear near large cacti.
Eremites Camp Area: Be wary of enemies, but there are 2-3 Henna Berries here that you can grab.

Aaru Village & Dar al-Shifa

Start Point: Statue of the Seven in Aaru Village

From the Statue of the Seven, follow the path south → you will find a Henna Berry on the side of the road.
Continue to Dar al-Shifa, cross the cliff → you can get 9 Henna Berries!
Bonus: There are 2 Henna Berries near Khaj-Nisut Waypoint.

Upper Setekh Land (Upper Setekh)

Start Point: Teleport Waypoint east of Sobek Oasis

From the waypoint, head west towards the edge of the Hypostyle Desert.
Continue south towards Dahri Valley → you will find some Henna Berries around here.

Dune of Magma

Start Point: Dune of Magma entrance

Follow the sandy path east → lots of Henna Berries on the side of the road!
There are 3 Henna Berries northwest of the pyramid, but a bit far from the waypoint.

Dune of Carouses

Go around the cliff from east to west → you will find some Henna Berries.
There are 6 Henna Berries near the Domain Garden of Endless Pillars.

How to Use Henna Berry

Henna Berry is an important ascension ingredient needed to level up. Faruzan and Candace. If you have one (or even both) of these characters, make sure you have collected enough Henna Berries so you don't run out when you need them.

Collect the Required Amount

Before you can level up your character, you must collect Henna Berries according to their ascension requirements:

Faruzan needs 168 Henna Berries to level up to level 90.
Candace also needs 168 Henna Berries to max level.

Since the respawn time is 48 hours, it's better to farm in large quantities at once so you don't have to go back and forth.

Level Up Character

After collecting Henna Berries, follow these steps:

Open the Character menu → Select Faruzan or Candace.
Click Ascend (the button next to the character level).
Make sure you have other materials (such as Mora, boss drops, etc.).
Click Confirm, and voilà! Your character has now gone up a tier.
