Canceled Arkane Prey 2 Game Review!

Game Prey 2 Arkane is an FPS game developed by Human Head Studios. Unfortunately, there are several reasons why this game was canceled.

Prey is a game FPS best with survival horror elements. Background games this takes place on a ship called Talos I. You will play as Morgan Yu and can play as a man or a woman.

As soon as you complete the tutorial mission, things go awry due to a mysterious plague on the ship. You will find out that an alien species called Typhon is responsible for the invasion. With this, you can take advantage of the abilities of this species.

The plot of the second part is closely related to its predecessor in story terms. The first version tells of Typhon, a group of aliens who must be caught and put in jail. 

You can use many features in the game: choose between genders, different weapons and abilities to conquer these extraterrestrials.

As for Prey 2, this version tells about Killian Samuels, a military man who fights against alien creatures on their unusual planet. Then the hero becomes a real hunter who will bravely kill all the inhabitants of the planet. 

It is important to know that Mr. Samuels has lost his memory and cannot recall the adventures that brought him to this mysterious planet. 

He felt lonely and considered himself the only person there. Later, the main hero remembers everything and continues his war against the ominous stranger.

Prey 2 Canceled Release

Quoted from the page GBC Times, Prey 2 was suddenly canceled by the publisher. Initially, the project was passed on to other developers; However, that didn't help the situation. 

Official representative of Arkane announced that the game did not meet their requirements and they did not wish to continue with it.

The planned 2012 launch did not take place. The shooter's creators said that they wanted to make some changes to the game, which could affect the original project plans. 

After some time, Bethesda, the American game publisher responsible for it, announced that the game's release was cancelled. There is no possible way to download or play it, not even on an emulator.

Will Prey 2 Be Developed at Arkane Studios?

According to rumors from the page Gamecentric. co existing among gamers, Arkane is working on new additions to this series and the upcoming Redfall.

It was further explained that a smaller team is working on Prey 2: Neuroshock, which will continue the events of the previous game.

But considering the source and the fact that the studio has not made an official statement yet, you should check the information presented again, because this is just a rumour.

The first Prey, released in 2017, combines elements of science fiction with a mix of exploration horror, an engaging plot, role-playing elements that allow players to upgrade their abilities and stats, and some fantastic set pieces. 

Reporting from the Gamecentric.co page, with Arkane Studios now recruiting a new developer, it is possible that a new member of the team will be working on the long-awaited Prey sequel. 

Arkane seems to be looking for someone to help with the new FPS, which Redfall doesn't seem like considering it's already in development. Meanwhile, Redfall will be available for PC and Xbox Series X/S in the summer of 2022.
