Revamp Guardian Helmet MLBB on Advance Server
It's been quite a while since Guardian Helmet received an update, since the last time Moonton tweaked it in the Season 24 update (Patch Note 1.6.66, March 26, 2022).
And, for whatever reason, a major revamp is now underway for various Defense items—including the Guardian Helmet. So, to help you understand, let's check it out.

Guardian Helmet Original and Advance Server Mechanics
Before getting into the main discussion regarding this item revamp, it would be a good idea for VCGamers to first explain the attributes of this item that apply on the Original Server.
Therefore, Vicigers You can compare this item in the current meta with what they'll implement once it's fixed. Here are the current Guardian Helmet attributes:
- Price: 2500 Gold
- Ingredients: Ares Belt (x3), upgrade of Vitality Crystal (x3)
- +1800 HP
- +20 HP Regeneration
- Unique Passive – Recovery: Restores 2.5% of your total HP per second. This amount decreases to 0.5% of your total HP when damaged.
Moonton then changed the attributes above by providing a passive from Twilight Armor: makes it an anti-burst/true damage item. The following happened on the Advance Server:
- All of the above attributes remain intact, except for the Unique Passive – Recovery, which has been modified. Now, while taking damage, its regeneration does not activate (reverting to the old Guardian Helmet version).
- In addition, Moonton also provides a Unique Passive – Defender: Every time you receive an attack of more than 500 damage (magic/physical), the excess damage from that amount will be reduced by 20 x (0.2% of the user's maximum HP)%.

Revamp Guardian Helmet Advance Server
Now, let's get straight to the main discussion: the ongoing Guardian Helmet revamp currently in effect on the Advance Server. This information was reported on the YouTube channel. Hororo chan.
So, Moonton still maintains all the attributes above, except for the Unique Passive – Defender, which they have slightly changed – adjusting its main purpose as a regeneration item.
Instead of making the passive a damage reduction item, they changed it to a healing item based on additional incoming damage. The number is the same: 500 damage.
This item converts excess damage into 20 (+28) % of healing. So it's no longer based on the user's max HP. And what's even more exciting is that this passive has no cooldown (CD)!
Yes, if the damage is continuous and burst-like and meets these requirements, the regen will activate again and again. That's until the health is full!
Heroes Who Are Suitable for Using This Item
This mechanic is certainly more suited to tanky and sustain-focused heroes. However, there are some heroes where it'll be a perfect match and could even become a must-have item:
- Heroes with taunt skills must "put their body on the line" and be hit as part of their mechanics. Fredrinn, Gatotkacha, and of course, Belerick will be very happy with this new passive;
- Some heroes also have the enlarge skill, which gives them a larger hitbox – becoming the team's body. Barats and Grock may consider purchasing this item later;
- And you can also use various other heroes who are suitable for using Vengeance in a combo with Guardian Helmet.
