Recap of MPL ID Season 17 Until Week Eight

We'll begin our discussion with a recap of the latest developments from week eight. This way, Vicigers who may have missed last week's MPL can stay up-to-date.

First, let's talk about the standings. As of now, no other team has followed RRQ in failing to qualify for the regular season. Eight other teams still have the potential to advance to the playoffs.

Another story with ONIC. As usual, they were the first and only team to make the playoffs before the regular season ended. Yes, they truly are the kings of the sky.

Then there are at least three teams with the same score and only a narrow aggregate difference. In week nine, they will be neck and neck to avoid failing to make the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the team truly on the brink of elimination is NAVI. Their playoff berth depends not only on their wins but also on the performance of the teams above them.

Bottom of the Table

At the bottom of the standings is RRQ, with their worst performance in the history of the pro scene. Since week seven, they've been officially doomed to playoff failure.

This came after they squandered their last win of the week by losing to EVOS and GEEK – completing their 11-game losing streak.

In the eighth week yesterday, they also looked really down, again suffering a crushing defeat against NAVI and TLID. In total, they lost 13 of their 14 matches.

This achievement was followed by NAVI, who only had six wins. Meanwhile, in sixth place was AE, who had a very unlucky week.

The bottom position of the top table is filled by the blue tiger team EVOS, with a one-match gap to DEWA, who are now languishing just below ONIC as the top team in the standings.
