Moonton's explanation regarding the MLBB Dark System during Solo Rank

Dark System Mobile Legends

Moonton as a game developer Mobile Legends opens his voice regarding the term 'dark system MLBB' which has been widely discussed recently. They conveyed this in March 2024.

Responsible for Battle Design Moonton, Q, answered this in an exclusive interview with Jonathan Liandy.

In the interview, Jo asked about whether or not there was a 'dark system' as is the topic of discussion among many players in this game.

Because, if you play solo rank, sometimes players get teammates who don't understand roles and so on.

This also makes a player lose in the game. Furthermore, this will make it difficult for solo players to reach a certain rank because they always lack stars and are stuck in a rank they don't really want.

Responding to Jo's question, Q also provided an explanation. He said, there were several things that caused this.

"For example, when players do match making, of course they want to be matched with comparable opponents, but the number of matching players is small," he said, quoted from Jonathan Liandi's YouTube channel.

Apart from that, he said, another thing that makes a player meet players from a different rank is to minimize waiting time.

"Sometimes to make players not wait too long for matchmaking, we sometimes match players with a different rank distance from our rank," he said.

He stated that the above playing experience does not apply to servers that have many players.

“But for servers with lots of players, this almost rarely happens. "So that is the situation, sometimes we make a compromise for matchmaking efficiency," he said.

However, Q emphasized that his party would make every effort to fix these problems. One of them is by adjusting the solo rank matchmaking to be more accurate.
