Continuing the discussion of MLBB MSC 2025, this round determines which teams will advance to the playoffs and who will have the opportunity to compete in the lower finals!
The two winning teams from the upper finals will receive “fast-track” tickets, while the losers will be eliminated from the lower finals to face the two winning teams from today’s lower quarterfinals.
Interestingly, even on the fourth day, we can still watch matches from our home country's representatives! So, a match like this is certainly one you've been looking forward to the most, right?
Especially if any of the Vicigers here are part of Kingdom (RRQ fans), you definitely can't miss out on supporting your favorite team! Here's the review:
Team Flash (FLSG): 2 vs. DianFengYaoGuai (DFYG): 0
The opening match of the fourth day pitted FLSG, the reigning MPL Singapore champions, against DFYG, the Chinese representative. In a #1 match, DFYG held the lead until the mid-game.
However, the Lord they won in the third contest was quite costly: it cost them two team members. As a result, FLSG was able to come back and win (14-14).
As if unwilling to learn from experience, DFYG's loss in Game #2 was like a repeat of Game #1. Despite losing to Lord, FLSG managed to wipe out the game and win 19-10!
Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ): 2 vs. Aurora Turkey (AUR): 1
For the second match, it was Indo Pride's turn: RRQ faced the "underdog" from Turkey, AUR! As if underestimating their opponent, RRQ was then defeated 20-8 by AUR in game #1.
However, RRQ managed to show that playing in the “big” league is not only about how to win, but also about the champion mentality: crushing AUR 16-2 in game #2.
And with the spirit of '45, RRQ's roosters refused to settle for the lower bracket. With a final score of 15-6, game #3 became a chance to prove RRQ's playoff credentials.
ONIC Philippines (ONPH): 2 vs. Area 77 (A77): 0
Next up is the deciding match between the M6 champions, ONPH, and the bottom-tier North American team, A77. It's quite surprising to see ONPH in the lower bracket.
It's no surprise that they were able to sweep A77 clean. In game #1, they didn't seem to want to exert too much effort to win. So, they settled for a narrow 10-9 victory.
Meanwhile, in Game #2, they paid their respects to the American delegation with a 23-4 victory, a "nice try." This allowed ONPH to continue progressing.
Team Spirit (TS): 2 vs. HomeBois (HB): 0
And the final match pitted the Russian team, TS, against the MPL Malaysia runner-up, HB. Once again, the match featured a clean sweep.
For game #1, TS showed strong dominance from the start: their turrets were untouched! This discipline continued until the end game (14-9).
In game #2, TS's victory (18-8) also looked very textbook: like a typical ranked match endgame. Without any over-the-top action or anything special, TS advanced to the playoffs.
