Shouei Barou is one of the support characters in the Blue Lock series who plays the role of a talented Striker.

Blue Lock is a manga adaptation by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine by Kodansha on August 1, 2018 to date and aired on October 9, 2022.

So, this anime and manga focuses on football that is looking for the best striker in the world, where hundreds of players will compete to be the strongest in front of the goal.

Shouei Barou is a Blue Lock player who played as a striker for Italy's Ubers during the Neo Egoist League.

He is the most fierce and controversial character in Blue Lock and he also claims himself as 'The King' on the field, aka a King who must be the center of everyone's attention.  

Barou first appeared in the First Selection Arc in the manga and debuted in the anime Episode 1: Dream from Season 1 Blue Lock to Season 2.

Then, he also often appears in several important arcs such as the First Selection Arc, Second Selection Arc, Third Selection Arc, U-20 Arc, Neo Egoist League Arc and U-20 World Cup Arc.

Shouei Barou was born on June 27th, 18 years old, with a height of around 187 cm, has muscles, narrow red eyes, black hair tied up, and wears a Striker Jersey.

In Blue Lock, he wears a standard black jersey with gray stripes and a sports outfit.

During the First Selection, he wore a white jersey with number 10. In the Second Selection, he wore a jersey with number 18 in the Red Team and White Team.

Then, in the Third Selection he wore a white jersey in Team B and when he was a reserve in Team Blue Lock, he wore a tight outfit and a long black trench jacket.

After coming on as a substitute in the second half of the Japan U-20 match, he wore the Blue Lock Jersey with the number 13 on his back. In the Neo Egoist League, he wore the Ubers Jersey with the number 13 on his back.

Shouei Barou has played for Team X, Team Red, Team White, Team Blue Lock, Team B, Blue Lock Eleven, Japan U-20 and Ubers.

When he first joined Blue Lock, he was a player on Team X during the First Selection and became the top scorer in the designated Stratum.

After joining Blue Lock Eleven, he played against U-20 Japan as a substitute and became one of the best players in the Project.

Then, after the end of Round 5 in the Neo Egoist League, he was ranked 4th, participated in international matches and qualified to be one of the 23 players for the new Japan U-20.
