Donk's meeting with the Spirit Team

After he succeeded in breaking into FaceIT's top level competition, OverDrive, a talent monitor belonging to Team Spirit noticed Donk's development since he first competed.

From there, OverDrive made an offer to Danil Donk to join the Spirit Team. He, who was still 14 years old at that time, of course did not refuse OverDrive's offer.

Initially, Donk had difficulty adapting to Team Spirit due to the age gap between the players.

Team Spirit's ranks decided to position him in the academy team first. After a year and a half, he managed to break into the Spirit Main Team.

Together with the Spirit Team, he has succeeded in winning several competitions and won the MVP title. Most recently, he won the IEM Katowice 2024 title, as well as MVP, and broke the record as the youngest player to get the highest rating at IEM.

Previously, Danil Donk also won BetBoom Dacha, and again won MVP in the competition.

The journey doesn't stop there. On 19-22, Donk and the Spirit Team will take part in the RMR B Europe performance, with the aim of getting a CS2 Major qualifying ticket.
