In the book and film, Mandrake is depicted as a plant with living roots that has a shrill cry.

This plant appears as one of the Herbology lesson curricula in Hogwarts taught by Professor Pomona Sprout.

In Hogwarts Legacy itself, Mandrake is an item that you can use in battle. He can make the opponent faint temporarily and cause damage to those around him.

You also need this living plant to be able to learn several spells from Professor Garlick.

After completing Professor Garlick's assignment, you will learn two spells, namely "Wingardium Leviosa" in the first assignment and "Flipendo" in the second assignment.

For the first task to learn Wingardium Leviosa, the items you need to bring are Mandrake and Venomous Tentacula.

To get Mandrake, you can buy it at Dogweed and Deathcap. Dogweed and Deathcap is a shop that provides various seeds and magical plants.

Dogweed and Deathcap are located on the northern outskirts of Hogsmeade, across the river from Madam Snelling's Trees Emporium. If you look at the map, the location of this place has a mushroom-shaped icon.

To be able to buy Mandrake, you need 500 gold galleons and Mandrake Seeds for 800 gold galleons.

When you arrive at this shop, go inside and talk to Madam Beatrice Green to see the stock availability of the item you want. You can buy a maximum of two Mandrakes at one time.

You can also grow Mandrakes in the Room of Requirements. After buying Mandrake seeds, go to any herbology station in your Room of Requiment and interact with it.

There are three choices of pot sizes in this room, namely small, medium and large. You can grow Mandrake in any pot, so you don't need to buy a specific size.

Select the Mandrake option to start growing it. After that, you only need to wait 10 minutes to get Mandrake.

With this 10 minute waiting time, you can spend your time doing various other activities according to your wishes.
