Maybe for those of you who don't know, the Esports World Cup (EWC) is an Esports tournament with the newest round that competes against world-class games and the best athletes such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, DOTA 2, Honor of Kings, StarCraft 2, Counter Strike 2 and Free Fire which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Esports World Cup (EWC) tournament will be held on 10 – 14 July 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where 18 Esports teams will compete and win the title of EWC 2024 champion.

Apart from winning the championship title, they will also win a prize pool of $1 million USD and specifically the winner of the Esports World Cup Free Fire will get 1 ticket for the Free Fire World Series Global Finals 2024 in Brazil this November.

According to BETWEEN, Ralf Reichert as CEO of the EWC Foundation said that "Free Fire is very strong in the world of Esports Mobile Games, able to break boundaries and create new records. EWC wants to present all the best games from all over the world and of course Free Fire is one of them."

He also said that if all the players can show off their abilities and best performance to each other in the Epic Battle Royale battle at the 2024 Esports World Cup, "This tournament will be a competition to show that Esports can unite players and fans all over the world. Get ready for an epic battle royale showdown in Riyadh.”

Apart from that, Harold Teo, Garena's Free Fire Producer, feels proud to be able to join in this tournament, "We are proud to be part of the long-awaited first edition of the Esports World Cup. Together with the EWC Foundation, Garena will present an unforgettable Free Fire esports experience."
