Onix has a physical shape like a series of chains made of gray stone whose size decreases towards its tail.

This Pokemon has a pair of black eyes and a round snout. There are new thorns on the top of his head.

As Onix matures, it will become rounder and smoother, eventually becoming similar to a black diamond.

This snake-shaped Pokemon will evolve into Steelix, a Pokemon with a combination type of Steel and Ground.
