Warlock Ultimate Evolution

So far it has been confirmed that Blizzard indeed deliberately designed the development of Warlock's lore in its release in the last three installations of this franchise.
Especially in its presence in the latest installation, Warlock is present in its complete form – with all the magical capacities that are far more powerful than the Warlock version in other installations.
And with that strong dark magic theme, Blizzard wants this DLC to look balanced: two sides of “Yin and Yang”, with the Paladin being the knight who wields holy power.
Lore And New Areas

In its latest installment, Blizzard deliberately adapted a current trend: introducing an open-world map. So it's natural that the DLC will also introduce new exploration areas.
So there is Skovos, a dangerous area consisting of various types of landscapes, ranging from port cities, ancient temples, mountains and plateaus, and much more.
One of the most eye-catching areas is Temis, the royal city that will be the center of the DLC's lore. At first glance, its landscape resembles Minas Tirith from Lord of the Rings.
The difference is, this city is situated on the seafront—steeped in a classic Mediterranean urban atmosphere. It's here that secrets concerning the Askari, Prime Evils, Firstborn, and Ancient Wars will be revealed.
New End Game Features

It would feel bland if a modern game didn't include an endgame mode that could consistently engage players. Yes, a good story and lore aren't enough.
Different from previous installations, Diablo IV offers quite a few modes for players to choose from. So, to make things easier, Blizzard introduced a new feature: "War Plan.".
Here, players can choose from five modes and create a personalized playlist. Each combination of these modes unlocks different rewards, offering opportunities for experimentation.
Not only that, if players successfully complete it, there will be a special skill tree progression that they can use to modify the experience of the entire War Plan feature.
The developer's goal is of course only one: so that players can experience dynamic gameplay so that the various end-game modes available don't become too monotonous.
Hyper Rare Event

Events have become a familiar practice among the fanbase since the third installment. Therefore, Blizzard is returning to the same formula.
This time, they're releasing an event called 'Echoing Hatred.' To access it, players must obtain (drop) a super-rare key called 'Echoing Treasure.'.
For veteran players, the mechanics are similar to 'Echoing Nightmare': endless waves of spawning enemies with increasing difficulty levels!
Improving Quality of Life (QoL)

As part of its three-decade anniversary celebration, Blizzard wanted to convey that this update wasn't just about bringing new things, but also listening to fan input.
Therefore, they also designed several updates and upgrades across various areas based on community feedback and feedback. Here's a summary of the details:
- Blizzard has heard netizens who often mock the "Skill Twig" instead of the term Skill Tree—due to the lack of options. They compared it to Path of Exile 2's truly "dense" "Skill Jungle." Therefore, this DLC will add more variety to the Skill Tree to further expand existing playstyles.;
- The return of the talisman and charm system which can provide various bonuses for completing build sets;
- The return of the Horadric Cube, retaining some old recipes and adding new ones, such as '3 to 1 Transmutation', 'Add Affix', 'Transfigure Item', etc.;
- Added 'Loot Filter' option which makes it easier for players to scavenge for drops scattered on the ground.
