Erling Haaland Becomes a New Character in Clash of Clans

Erling Haaland, world soccer superstar, is now a character in the game from Supercell, Clash of Clans. This 23 year old footballer who is a striker from Norway is the character of the Barbarian King in COC.

This is the first time that COC, which has had up to 2 billion downloads, brings real characters into the game.

Collaboration, Haaland Becomes a Character in COC

You can now play Haaland in Clash of Clans starting tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1 2024. Apart from that, you can also defeat Haland's village in the game.

"Fans can play Haaland in Clash of Clans starting from Wednesday, May 1, and enjoy a variety of football-themed features available throughout the month that include platoon characters and medal events," wrote Supercell in a written statement received by VCGamers News, Tuesday, 30 April 2024.

Haaland also has experience playing video games and is a COC fan. You can see this in the trailer which is equipped with an interesting soundtrack.

In the trailer released today, Haaland will meet characters from the game and explore the world of COC.

"App Store visitors will get exclusive access to see Haaland in action in the game and get further details about additional details regarding the event and prizes," wrote the statement.

Haaland admitted that he had difficulty holding back from discussing this matter publicly. However, he is very happy with the collaboration with COC.

“I have been a loyal fan of this game for a long time and I could say that I quite understand about Clash of Clans. "So, it feels extraordinary to be able to be a character in the game," said Haaland.

Clash of Clans General Manager, Stuart McGaw, said that Haaland's presence in the game would provide a special moment.

“When we heard that Erling Haaland was a fan of our game and he wanted to collaborate, we felt that this was a dream scenario. "Our team is working hard to bring one of the world's best athletes into the world of gaming which is guaranteed to give players special moments," he said.

He explained that his party would announce more football-themed news with this collaboration.
