Pull Explains Why Pro Players Are Leaving CS:GO!

Pull

Hello Vicigers, A few days ago pro player CS:GO, Jake “Stewie2K” Yip expressed his desire to switch to Valorant. Finally Pull “pull” Celik explained “no chance” as the reason behind pro-CS:GO players turning to Valorant.

The release of Riot Games' 5v5 tactical shooter game in June 2020 made many players of other games such as Overwatch and CS:GO switch to Valorant. This game has gained immense popularity across the globe and has seen massive growth in the Esports scene in the span of a year.

Most recently, on August 14th, Team Liquid's CS:GO player Stewie2K was spotted watching the Valorant Champions Tour Stage 3 Challengers NA playoff match-up between 100 Thieves and Team Envy. While enjoying the match, he expressed his desire to move to Valorant “eventually”.

Stewie2K said:

Watch tomorrow's party! I'm down to watch it with you guys. I actually learned a lot from watching, and with all the jokes, I wouldn't switch, but I will eventually.

Stewie2K was seen trying to play Valorant in its early days, but later admitted that he had stopped playing Valorant since the release of Valorant Sentinel agent, Killjoy, in August 2020.

Tarik describes the lack of opportunity for CS:GO players in NA as the reason for switching to Valorant

Tarik left the Evil Geniuses CS:GO roster in April to begin content creation. Since then, there has been much speculation and rumors about players switching over to Riot Games' FPS game, Valorant.

Recently in his stream on August 17, Tarik shared his thoughts on professional players leaving CS:GO to pursue careers in Valorant. He pointed out that the lack of opportunity in North America was one of the reasons behind professional CS:GO players turning to Valorant.

Tarik said,

It's unfortunate, but you can't really blame them because there wasn't a chance for those in NA. It sucks but that's the situation now. There aren't enough team salaries in NA and people are getting tired of CS I think. It's something new and exciting, but I agree it's a shame.

Tarik was recently spotted streaming Valorant on Twitch, indicating the possibility for players to make the switch. However, there has been no official statement regarding this matter.

Indeed, Valorant has really attracted a lot of interest from other game players and also the pro players. Examples like Shroud, TenZ, and also Stewie2K are three of the CSGO pro players who switched from CSGO to Valorant.

According to pro players, Valorant is indeed very interesting, Valorant is not just an ordinary FPS game, Valorant is an FPS game in which there are skill abilities that every agent in Valorant has.

Maybe it's also because the fans are getting bored with the CSGO game which looks monotonous, that's why since the release of Valorant to the public, many players are interested in playing the game. And everyone definitely wants to try this one game.

Starting from the unique skills and various weapons that make Valorant more interesting than CSGO. Many pro players also say that the recoil of the Valorant game is not much different from the recoil of CSGO, therefore many pro players find it very easy to adapt to this one game.

Shroud has also explained that it "hurts" and "makes him very sad" to see "such a good game destroyed by the company behind it." And he believes the only way Valve will care enough to make it better is if "everyone stops playing CS:GO."

The reason Shroud said that is, the CSGO server is no longer paid close attention to by the developers and there are also many cheaters that roam around in every game which makes Shroud and other players furious.

In my opinion, CSGO is a game whose main debit is fps games from the generation of half life cs 1.6 to csgo, valorant is easier to earn money because at that time it was a very new game while now it's just as difficult. btw cs recoil is easier to predict because there is a recoil pattern for some reason I'm having trouble and really trying hard when playing Valorant while csgo already let it flow for recoil control
