Meta Counter Hero Harley

We'll open our discussion with the meta counters for Harley. As a legacy hero who hasn't received much of a revamp, there's actually no specific meta to counter him.

As assassins/mages, their users prioritize early stealth to snowball. They tend to avoid teamfights and wars, especially 5v5.

He also has to play the textbook game: remain calm while farming without enemy interference. If his farming is smooth, he can progress faster, making his damage difficult to contain.

So, the easiest way to counter him is to prevent him from snowballing in the early game. Use a roamer who's good at farming and forcing teamfights/wars.

Spells

Harley herself lacks strong crowd control (CC) capabilities—she's a pure damage dealer. Therefore, the best spells to counter her are those that provide evasive or sustain capabilities:

• Flicker: This spell is suitable for you to use to avoid Harley's scattering of cards so that his ultimate combo is ineffective;
• Aegis: Aegis can be used to withstand burst damage from Harley's ultimate;
• Revitalize: At least this spell can add to the remaining blood that is left so that it fails to burst with the ultimate circle (assuming Harley doesn't buy Sky Piercer).

Items

There are several items you can use to reduce the effectiveness of her combos. These items will become even more important if Harley manages to snowball:
