Counter Change: Meta, Items, and Heroes
In Season 37, for some reason, many MLBB players are curious about the topic of countering Change. Even though the mage, Zilong's brother, isn't particularly overpowered (OP).

We'll begin our discussion by discussing meta-counters for Change. This way, you won't be easily fooled by its "cute" and non-threatening appearance.
Actually, the Change meta isn't that difficult. With the current situation, there are only three options available for Change players in the Land of Dawn. Here are the details:
- Change damage: If the Change build is made full of magic damage, then it is very likely that he will rotate diligently and help his team to win teamfights;
- Change attack speed: With its mechanics, Change can utilize built attack speed—sometimes even using Attack items. By sacrificing damage, this build is generally suited for users who like to push.
- Change Hybrid: still focusing on Magic items (for damage), but with a focus on built attack speed. Change players typically use this meta for flexibility—they can be a damage war player, and if their team loses, they can switch to a pusher.
You can counter this meta change by diligently monitoring its location. If you see an empty lane, don't let it sit for too long and immediately fill it.
Armed with movement speed, Change can quickly rotate and push into empty lanes. This mage only needs one wave of minions to take down a shield-less turret.
In war, without the aid of spells, he will be easily picked off if not protected by his team. So inform your teammates if you see him. change using spells.

Items
With Change's mechanics, countering items isn't too complicated. You can choose magic reduction and dampening items, especially those that provide damage per second (DPS).

Hero Counter Change
As a mage with limited sustain and blink mobility, finding a hero to counter Change isn't difficult. Here's a summary of some of them:
- Projectile damage: since most of Change's damage skills come in the form of projectiles, Lolita and her shield skills are a natural counter to Change;
- High mobility with burst damage: because Change relies heavily on spells to escape, it will be very difficult for him to avoid a lineup of damage dealer heroes with high mobility: Fanny, Lancelot, Haya, Karina, Joy, Ling, Lapu-Lapu, Yu Zhong, etc.;
