1. Understand the Role Selection System Well
Our discussion starts from understanding the latest Moonton features that were released on Season 37 this is namely lane matchmaking. Because it's still new, not many people understand how to maximize it.
Because it's still new, this feature can be a double-edged sword: if you use it wisely, it can be helpful; but if you use it haphazardly, you'll likely lose a few stars. Here are some tips:

- If playing solo, it's best to choose the role you're most proficient in. Priority levels are listed from left to right. For example, consider "Figure 1." With this selection, the system will prioritize the roamer role for you over EXP.

- If playing duos or trios, be sure to match your lane choices before starting. For example, see "Figure 2." Observe how all three players match their roles so they can eventually get all three roles. If they get mixed up, simply swap them out.
- If you're playing in a party (five players), don't force roles. If you see a player in a party who isn't in their comfort zone, it's best to kick them or leave the room.
2. Minimize Solo Play

In the current meta, it's best to avoid playing solo. Relying on Moonton's matchmaking system to find public players carries a high risk of encountering a dark system.
We can't choose or predict who will be our enemies or allies. This would be different if we relied on the various systems already available in the MLBB interface:
- Play with players who have already made friends;
- Searching for slots and minus parties in public chat;
- Look for parties lacking players according to their role through the “Lobby Recruitment List”;
- Opening slots for the public to the Lobby via the “Recruit” feature;
- Ask Moonton to find an empty room via the “Quick Join” feature.
These various features give you the opportunity to find out which players will be on your team/party. So, don't just go ahead and do it! Make sure they're not part of a dark system.
3. Try not to push too early or too late
With Moonton still maintaining its season reset scheme from the “old days,” the beginning of the system became the point where the demographics of MLBB players “mixed” together.
And all players will start again at roughly the same tier. However, few understand how important it is to know when the best time to start pushing rank again is.
Typically, jockeys, streamers, and pro players will go all-in at the start of the season. So, if you don't have their skills, it's best to wait and learn the meta.
Ideally, matchmaking will be more stable 3-7 days after the season change. This is the perfect time to start pushing rank again—especially for casual players.
But it's also important to remember not to get stuck at the bottom for too long. Aim to break through to Mythic within two weeks of the season change, at the latest.
If you don't immediately "move" from Epic and Legend, then you will "struggle" at the bottom with other dark systems who are also hampered by their minimal skill capacity.
