Games This will be set in 1993, where Ryu and Ken Masters, two separate street fighters, are again caught in a battle when the mysterious Chun-Li recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament.

The fight was very brutal, mixed with fighting, fate, and anger. 

But behind this fight is hidden a deadly conspiracy that forces them to face each other and things that haunt their past.

Street Fighter 2026 Release Schedule

Street Fighter is scheduled to be released in the United States by Paramount Pictures on October 16, 2026, in IMAX format.

Initially, the film was scheduled to be released on March 20, 2026 by Sony Pictures Releasing as part of a previous deal with Legendary.

However, it was rescheduled less than a year before its release, after Legendary's deal with Sony expired in November 2024.

Then in August 2025, Paramount was in talks to distribute the film after signing a deal with Legendary. 

And in September 2025, Paramount officially acquired the distribution rights to the film.
