Now let's get straight to the main discussion, namely the recommendations for the best Samsung Camera 4 that are still worth using in 2026 before the newer releases.
For your information, when talking about 4 cameras, Samsung only makes it exclusive to its non-folding flagship devices – which are currently only concentrated in the Galaxy S Series line-up.

4. Galaxy S22 Ultra (5G) (IDR 11-14 Million)
We'll start this list with one of the relatively new Galaxy S Series variants, the S22 Ultra. Although it's three generations behind, it's still worth a look in 2026.
This is the last Galaxy S Series to still feature a 108MP main camera – a Samsung “legacy” that has been around since the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
In addition, there are also three other companion cameras, starting from the telephoto and periscope cameras which are both in the 10 MP range, as well as the ultrawide (for macro shots) in the 12 MP range.
3. Galaxy S23 Ultra (13-16 Million)
Let's continue with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. If you're on a budget but want a Samsung flagship with up-to-date features, this could be the best option.
Yep, this is the first time Samsung has used a main camera with a sensor size of up to 200 MP! Of course, the goal is the same: to rival Apple's iPhone.
However, the other three cameras remain largely unchanged—they remain the same as the S22 Ultra. This "stagnation" is offset by more advanced imaging software.
2. Galaxy S24 Ultra (IDR 15-21 Million)
When it comes to the successor to the S23, the obvious answer is the S24 Ultra. The physical appearance may not be much different, but make no mistake, the upgrades are truly noticeable in the software, which has undergone significant improvements.
This smartphone's release year marked the rise of the AI era. And Samsung certainly didn't want to be left behind: it incorporated AI into its 200MP main camera's image processing.
In addition to the inclusion of AI in their smartphone devices for the first time, another improvement is in the periscope camera sensor line which has increased to 50MP.
1. Galaxy S25 Ultra (IDR 20-28 Million)
And at number one is the flagship lineup released in 2025: the Galaxy S25 Ultra. To date, it remains Samsung's highest-spec non-folding smartphone available.
There's not much new in the imaging department. Just look at the main camera, which remains a 200MP unit with up to 100x optical zoom—something that's been around since the S20 Ultra.
The only difference is the accompanying camera: the ultrawide now has a 50 MP sensor. Meanwhile, the telephoto and periscope cameras remain stuck at 10 MP and 50 MP, respectively.
