After yesterday's community MLBB witnessing the massive changes in Defense items, this “fever” then spread to Attack items: Demon Hunter Sword (DHS)!

With a trajectory like this, it is not impossible that various items from other categories (Magic, Jungling, and Movement) will also experience quality of life (QoL) improvements.
In fact, there's still a lot of potential for other items to be impacted by similar changes. In the Attack category, DHS was the first item to be affected by Moonton's adjustments.
It's unclear when this item was last adjusted. That's likely why the developers are tinkering with its mechanics in Land of Dawn.
Demon Hunter Sword Attributes on Original Server
Before we get into the main discussion, it's a good idea to first discuss DHS's attributes in the current meta. This way, Vicigers can clearly see the differences.
In fact, Moonton is still maintaining most of its current attributes. However, its passive will change in the future. Here are the complete details regarding DHS's attributes:

- Ingredients: Vampire Mallet, Knife, and Regular Spear (mix Knife + Dagger)
- +35Physical Attack
- +20% Attack Speed
- +8% Lifesteal
- Unique Passive – Engulf: Basic Attack deals 8% damage of the target's remaining HP as additional physical damage (maximum +60 for minions)
- Unique Passive – Devour: Basic Attacks provide 2% Lifesteal for 3 seconds. This effect can be stacked up to 5 times.
Revamp Demon Hunter Sword on Advance Server
Now, after looking at the DHS attributes that are still valid on the current Original Server, we now move on to the main discussion regarding the revamp that is already in effect on the Advance Server.
Regarding the changes, this is happening to her Unique Passive – Devour. While this passive previously provided Lifesteal, it has now been replaced by an Attack Effect-based recovery.
The specific amount is 10 x (4 x Hero Level) the user's HP. Yep, the scaling is now based on level and HP! This will certainly change the mechanics and suitability of its use.

Nibiru is a DPS character, while Renner is a burst type. If you purchase DHS, the two modes will produce different recovery rates depending on the attack type.

Explanation of Meta and Hero Users
In the current Original Server meta, any Land of Dawn player (especially Gold Laners) will be familiar with the Trinity Build: DHS, Corrosion Scythe, and Golden Staff.
This build is perfect for marksman heroes with attack speed who rely heavily on basic attack damage. Once completed, the damage per second (DPS) can be quite devastating!
However, there's a discrepancy between these combo builds. Currently, DHS emphasizes adding Lifesteal—an attribute the other two items lack.
Moonton understands this situation. Therefore, DHS's passive has been changed to be based on Attack Effect. This will complement the Trinity build, which relies heavily on basic attacks.
The heroes who will benefit most from this change are undoubtedly Trinity-using DPS marksmen. Some of them include Claude, Melissa, and... Obsidian, and Karrie.
