In fact, last year Realme held the title of the 7th largest smartphone brand in the world. Not bad achievement, even though Realme itself has only been established for about 3 years.

Palson Yi in his presentation mentioned that the Realme number series is a flagship series, in particular flagship for the young. He even dared to clarify that the Realme 8 series has a flagship design and flagship performance at a mid-range smartphone price.

It's a bit deviated from the definition of a flagship, in fact, especially the last 3 Pro series on Realme 6/7/8 both still use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, without an increase in this sector.

Realme 8 Series Focus on Camera Sector Innovation

Experiencing an increase in the camera from the first series Realme 2 series, to the last series Realme 7 series.

Realme always makes significant improvements in the camera sector. From dual cameras on the initial Realme 3 series, to a 48MP quad camera on the Realme 5 series, then continuing up to a 64MP camera on the Realme 6 series.

Innovations are also carried out on the features found in this number series Realme. Like super nightscape which has the function of making light of camera captures even in dark conditions. Or features starry time-lapse video to take views of the starry sky with cool results, etc.

Unlike the Redmi Note 10 series from Xiaomi, which did not introduce or promote their selfie camera at all. The Realme 8 series is proud to present their 16MP in-display selfie camera with the latest Sony IMX471 sensor as well as a large aperture that captures a lot of light for great selfies.

Generation Z Becomes the Target Market for the Realme 8 Series

Echoing slogans flagship for the young, From the start, this Realme series has actually targeted its market to the millennial or gen-z generation.

With features always on video as well as in-display fingerprint makes the Realme 8 series look different from its competitors, which embed a side-mounted fingerprint on their smartphones (re: Redmi Note 8 series).

NFC is also embedded in the Realme 8 series and this feature is only present in the Indonesian market. It seems that Realme understands very well the condition of the Indonesian market which is currently busy using NFC for e-money payments, data transfers, etc., especially gen-z.

Apart from that, the Realme 8 series also supports it reverse charging, so you can charge your second cellphone and your AIoT product easily in an emergency, without having to look for a power outlet.

Cooling system copper liquid don't forget to pin it to reduce overheating on smartphones. Hi-Res Audio certification is also here to pamper the ears of Realme 8 series users.

Is the price of the Realme 8 Series as expected?

Then does this price meet your expectations, Realme Fans? It seems that the announced price is not a problem for Realme fans, but it will be a problem for those who are still confused about choosing a smartphone daily drivers they. Because at a lower price, there are competing products that are ready to follow the Realme 8 series.

It is better if Realme prepares a better sales strategy for 2021. Because if not, there are lots of competitors who will elbow the products that will come out next from Realme.
