MediaTek Dimensity 1080 Is Equivalent To What Chipset?

MediaTek is not the only chipset used by smartphones on the market. So many potential buyers are still confused about which brand they want to buy.

One chipset that is often compared to MediaTek is Snapdragon which is made by Qualcomm.

Many compare the Dimensity 1080 with the Snapdragon 778G. Both use TSMC N6 (6nm-class) processing technology, there are several differences between the two.

This chipset also has a maximum bandwidth that is superior to the Snapdragon 778G, namely up to 51.2 Gbit/sec. Meanwhile, the Snapdragon 778G itself only has 25.6 Gbit/second.

Apart from providing support for a memory bandwidth of 100% which is greater than Snapdragon, MediaTek also has a higher GPU frequency of up to 45%.

The CPU used is also superior in speed to Snapdragon, namely reaching 8% which is higher where MediaTek uses a frequency of 2600 MHz.
