ONIC Esports ID: 2 vs. ONIC Esports PH (ONPH): 3

The fourth day of the playoffs opened with a battle for third place for the losers in the semifinals: ONIC, representing the country, against its own “brothers,” ONPH.
Despite both teams' losses in the quarterfinals, the Hedgehog management team seems quite satisfied. Yes, win or lose, they still take home a total prize pool of USD 400,000!
This is roughly equivalent to IDR 6.5 billion (August 2025 exchange rate). Therefore, as can be seen from the #1 match, both teams appeared to be playing quite relaxed and without pressure.
However, it was ONPH who took the lead. Kirk achieved a savage performance with his beautiful Edith play, leading his team to a 6-22 victory.
As if not wanting to lose, ONIC also showed off its capabilities in the #2 game. LancelotKairi and Pharsa from SANZ proved effective in bringing victory with a score of 17-4.
For game #3, Coach Yeb and Adi remained confident in Kairi's Lancelot. And that confidence proved to be true, giving ONIC a 15-10 victory with a wipeout in the 14th minute.
As game point for ONIC, game #4 was a high-stakes match for ONPH. They had to go all-in here to take this match to game #5. And that's exactly what happened.
Even though there was a tit-for-tat action, ONIC's defeat in the war in the 21st minute was enough to be a ticket for ONPH to maximize the best of 5 (Bo5) match: winning with a score of 8-16.
The match reached a #5 tie. However, the Indonesian team seemed to have been briefed to relax. As a result, Kairi's auto-lose draft emerged: Baxia! Still lacking, Kiboy picked Angela.
Of course, the result was predictable! ONPH won easily in less than 15 minutes, with a final score of 8-4. Wow, you were in such a hurry to get your money in, weren't you?
Team Liquid PH: 4 vs. Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG): 1

Now it's time for the main discussion, namely the grand final match between the defending MSC 2024 champions, SRG, and the blue horse team, the M4 World Championship champions: TLPH.
Judging by their performance since the start of the group stage, SRG has had quite a few ups and downs to get to this point. Meanwhile, TLPH has been remarkably consistent, going undefeated!
So when SRG was able to open the #1 game with such dominance that they won 19-5 over TLPH, this was quite a surprise for the entire AMAZON Arena audience who were present to watch.
However, it seems like TLPH is just warming up, and this can be seen from game #2 when the deadly combo of Harith-Oheb and Yi Sun-shin-Karltzy was unstoppable for SRG: 17-11 for TLPH.
In game #3, both teams seemed to slow down the tempo—at least until the mid-game. However, SRG lost their discipline first, getting wiped out and losing narrowly, 14-16.
The big leagues are indeed only for those with a steely mentality. And from game #4, SRG clearly isn't one of them. Their previous defeat seemed to have had a significant impact on them.
In just 10 minutes, TLPH defeated SRG 19-2. This was further evident in game #5, which was game point for TLPH. Trailing by two games, SRG appeared resigned.
Although TLPH's tempo slowed, it was clear that SRG had conceded defeat. Consequently, without further action, TLPH closed the match early, winning 19-5.
Congratulations to TLPH from the Philippines for winning the MSC 2025 championship! And good try and good game to SRG from Malaysia for finishing second.
