1. Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG): 3 vs. ONIC Esports PH (ONPH): 2

The first match pitted two giants against each other: SRG, the defending MSC 2024 champion from Malaysia, against ONPH, the MSC 2019 champion and current M6 title holder.

Both are strong teams from their respective countries. It's no surprise that public expectations for this match are quite divided—especially considering ONPH's performance at the MSC.

As if trying to show their teeth, both teams exchanged victories. In game #1, SRG completely dominated the match. Their towers were even completely intact.

This contrasted with ONPH's entire Land of Dawn "construction." The game ended with a final score of 18-6 after SRG was wiped out without reply in the 17th minute.

It seems this defeat has only just started ONPH's "engine" heating up. This was evident in the #2 game, as they turned the tide of the match from early to late.

In just over 12 minutes, ONPH took turns destroying all of SRG's turrets! Without needing a wipeout, they won the game with a final score of 12-19.

A similar pattern was seen in game #3, but with slightly less tension. SRG dominated from start to finish, which ended with a score of 9-1.

In game #4, ONPH once again won 14-5. Meanwhile, game #5 ended with a 16-4 victory for SRG, the result of their wipeout over ONPH.

2. ONIC Esports ID: 1 vs. Team Liquid PH (TLPH): 3

For the second match, as usual, it's time for the Indo Pride match: ONICThe team that won the 2023 MSC will face former M4 world champions TLPH.

As the team with the most consistent performance at MSC 2025 this time, TLPH, who has never "fallen" to the lower bracket, is more favored by many Land of Dawn players.

And this was immediately evident in game #1, where TLPH completely dominated: ONIC lost 16-6. Going into game #2, ONIC looked more prepared and put up a fight.

Although TLPH was still ahead until the 14th minute, they couldn't maintain their discipline. Thankfully, they still managed a narrow comeback (20-17).

Game #3 became game point for TLPH, who with one more win could send ONIC to the third-place match at MSC 2025. Funnily enough, ONIC actually looked "resigned".

Instead of using a “logical” draft they just “had an idea”: trying the roamer support meta! Kiboy pick Estes to support Barats' jungler utility gameplay Kairi.

It gets even weirder when you look at it SANZ who also "even" use Novaria in the international pro scene. This meta is certainly out of the "comfort zone" of the sky king team.

However, unexpectedly, a deviation from the formula resulted in a surplus. A wipeout in the 16th minute brought ONIC back to a 12-16 victory, refusing to give TLPH a clean sweep.

Meanwhile, in game #4, ONIC seemed anti-climactic. Kairi used Baxia, his favorite "blunder" hero. And sure enough, TLPH won 15-5 with a wipeout in the 15th minute.
