ONIC Wins MPL ID Season 15 After Defeating RRQ 4-3
After stumbling quite a bit at the beginning of the regular season, the “king of the sky” team was able to show the true meaning of “comeback”. Yep, ONIC won MPL Season 15!
They got this after a fierce battle in the Grand Final round against RRQ on Sunday (15/06) yesterday. Now for those who didn't have time to watch, let's just watch the highlights!

All About the Grand Final of MPL Indonesia Season 15
Like the previous Grand Final matches, the best of 7 (BO7) system is back in MPL this season. So, the team that first achieves 4 wins will be declared the winner.
But regardless of who wins, the two teams that "play" in this round will advance to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for this year's international event, namely MSC 2025!
For this reason, ONIC and RRQ have been officially confirmed as Indonesia's representatives at the event, which will kick off on July 23 and last until August 2, 2025.

MPL ID Season 15 Match 8 – Game 1 (ONIC 1 – 0 RRQ)
Kiboy, the Indonesian #1 Roamer, was able to become an important determinant and MPV in this game. With his beautiful Kalea game, he was able to dive-in and break through the opponent's formation.
As a result, ONIC managed to score in the first game without fierce resistance. The “king of kings” team was only able to survive for 16 minutes from the onslaught of the “king of the sky” team.
MPL ID Season 15 Match 8 – Game 2 (ONIC 2 – 0 RRQ)
In the second game, ONIC still did not get any significant resistance from the other team. RRQ. In fact, the game duration is even shorter: it lasts less than 15 minutes!
This time, Kairi as the best Jungler in the world became the MVP. His Retri was always on-point regarding the mega fauna of Land of Dawn: producing a Perfect Turtle and two Lords for ONIC.

Finally, RRQ was able to break the deadlock in the third game. Lasting for less than 11 minutes, RRQ proved that they deserved to be in the Grand Final against ONIC.
Idok, the roamer from the RRQ development league team, showed his capacity as an MVP. His Kalea was able to carry RRQ to get the first score in this round.
MPL ID Season 15 Match 8 – Game 4 (ONIC 2 – 2 RRQ)
RRQ managed to catch up by equalizing the score! This time they played more relaxed with the game lasting about a quarter of an hour.
Once again, Idok “single-handedly” carried his team! Even though Kiboy had given a counter respect with a Gatot pick, Tigreal from Roamer RRQ refused to be stopped!
MPL ID Season 15 Match 8 – Game 5 (ONIC 2 – 3 RRQ)
Match point for RRQ that narrows the steps to carry the MPL ID S15 trophy! With the same duration as before, the game looks one-sided.
This time Dyrennn, as the Offlaner who rejoined Hoshi together with Idok, took the stage. His Phoveus managed to make ONIC's damagers run amok!
MPL ID Season 15 Match 8 – Game 6 (ONIC 3 – 3 RRQ)
It turns out that ONIC did not want to give RRQ an easy win. This can be seen from how fierce the fight was in the sixth game - it lasted for almost 20 minutes!
Even though RRQ had already managed to take the lead, the maniac wipeout achieved by Savero (ONIC's new Goldlaner) was able to provide an epic comeback: bringing both teams to the final match!
MPL ID Season 15 Match 8 – Game 7 (ONIC 4 – 3 RRQ)
It was proven that ONIC's mentality was what successfully brought them the title of "king of the sky". With a game duration of less than 14 minutes, ONIC officially won the MPL ID S15 trophy!
And the Final MVP who successfully recorded history for the seventh MPL champion title for ONIC was Sanz with his flawless Pharsa game! Congratulations to ONIC!
