The Medallion Statue is part of a larger puzzle that you must solve in the RPD as Leon in Resident Evil 2 remake. 

Each Medallion code will unlock one of three medallions you need to open the underground tunnel beneath the statue in the RPD main hall.

Finding the code for the horse statue or other statues in Resident Evil 2 is one of the first things you'll do when you reach the RPD, but finding the statues isn't easy.

Medallion Code Locations in Resident Evil 2 1st Run Scenario

To get the Medallion Statue code in Resident Evil 2 remake, you have to go to the RPD. 

There you will find the main hall deserted and the west side door locked. When you check the computer at the front desk, you will see a police officer running from a group of zombies in the east wing of the station via CCTV. Your task is to save the officer.

Lift the cover covering the eastern hallway in the Great Hall using the switch to the left of it. You can then move under the cover and head into the eastern wing. 

Continue down the corridor, and when you reach a fork, turn right. You'll have to push a locker that's blocking your way.

As you pass the lockers, you will hear the police start yelling at you to open the door to the Guard Room. 

When you do, unfortunately, only about half of him makes it through. However, one stroke of luck is on your side, and that is, his notebook makes it through.

The Officer's Notebook contains the Medal Statue codes, namely:

Resident Evil 2 Round 2 Medallion Codes

When you start the second round of Resident Evil 2, you will still have difficulty getting medals, as Elliot is already dead by the time you get to the RPD during the second round.

However, you should stop by the Guard Room. While the entire notebook isn't there, there is a piece of paper there, and you'll need it to track down the three codes. 

Picking it up will give you the first two parts of the Unicorn Statue code, but you'll need to find more info if you want to get the medal.

You can find the second clue in the RPD Main Hall. Near the couch where Marvin last rested in the first round, you will find a Notebook with Missing Pages. 

Inside, you'll find the code for the Maiden Statue, which will give you the info to retrieve two of the three medallions.

The final code can be found in the Lounge, the same area as the Unicorn Statue. On the table, you will find a yellow tin box. When you open it, you will find a film reel with a label that says “Lion Statue”. 

Unroll the film and you will get the code for the third statue.

The easiest medal to find of the three is the Lion Medal. Once you exit the east wing and talk to Marvin, you can walk straight to it. 

The Lion Statue is located just above the stairs at the north end of the Main Hall. Then enter the correct Resident Evil 2 Lion Statue code.

Resident Evil 2 Unicorn Statue Location

To reach the Unicorn Statue or horse, you must pass through the west wing of the RPD after unlocking the window that blocks the guest reception area. 

Climb the stairs near the Dark Room to the third floor and keep going until you find yourself in the Library.

Once you are in the Library, go down to the second floor and look for a door facing south. Go through it and you will be in the Living Room, which contains a Unicorn or horse Statue. Enter the correct code and you will receive the Unicorn Medallion.

Resident Evil 2 Maiden Statue Location

Finding the Maiden Statue is a bit trickier than the other two. You'll pass it on your way to the Unicorn Statue, but you won't be able to open the path to it on your first try.

In the West Storage Room on the third floor of the RPD, there is a barred area on the south wall. If you look through the bars, you will see the Statue Maiden. Unfortunately, the entrance to the room was blocked by a pile of rubble.

To get through the rubble, you have to find the Detonator and Battery and detonate the C4 attached to it. After that, you can enter the room and enter the code to get the Maiden Medal.
