Jin Itadori is a side character in the series Jujutsu Kaisen who only appears in flashbacks as the father of Yuji Itadori.

He is the son of Wasuke Itadori (Itadori's grandfather) and the husband of Kaori Itadori who has been possessed by Kenjaku.

Jin has the appearance of a tall man with short, light-colored hair and light eyes.

Jin Itadori's Appearance in Jujutsu Kaisen

On March 20, 2003 in a hospital in Sendai, Jin hugged her baby, Yuji Itadori, and told his father, Wasuke Itadori, that if he was going to talk badly about his partner, she would leave the room. 

Wasuke said to Jin, even though he could live as he pleased, he would die if he didn't let go of his partner. 

Jin asks Wasuke not to say such things in front of Yuji because babies seem to remember more than most people believe. 

Wasuke mentions the fact that Jin wanted to have a child with a woman named Kaori, but before Wasuke can say anything about her death, “Kaori” with stitches on her forehead cuts in and addresses him as her father-in-law, asking what he is talking about.

That's Jin Itadori's only appearance in the Jujutsu Kaisen series. While small, it's quite influential on the main storyline going forward.

Jin Death Status

Jin Itadori's death status was never clearly confirmed in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.

This has led many fans to speculate that Kenjaku might have killed Jin after Yuji was born, given that Kenjaku's only goal was to create Yuji as an ideal vessel for Sukuna. 

However, there is also a theory that says that Jin might still be alive somewhere, waiting for the moment to reappear in the story. 

This mystery continues to be a hot topic of discussion among Jujutsu Kaisen fans.

Jin Fights Shonen Stereotypes

Interestingly, Jin Itadori is a little different from most male characters in shonen manga who are usually depicted as fighters or heroes.
