If you play Honkai Star Rail and are confused about which character to build, this latest tier list for June 2025 could be the guide you are looking for.

Tier S – The Most Meta Characters!

In this tier, only the best performing characters enter. They are strong in various modes, from Simulated Universe to Memory of Chaos. Very suitable for those of you who want to push rank or fight difficult bosses.

• Acheron – Electro DPS with incredible scaling. His skill can wipe a wave easily.
• Aglaea – Support/debuffer hybrid with broken potential. Perfect for team control.
• Anaxa – Main DPS with a balanced sustain and burst kit. Stable and very strong.
• Aventurine – A reliable tank that can be a shield wall for the entire team. Very effective in late game content.
• Castorice – Ice DPS with high scaling, can be your team’s core damage dealer.

If you have this Tier S character, it is mandatory to build it first!

Tier A – Still OP, But Needs Setup

A-tier characters are still strong, but they need a more specific team or certain conditions to be at their best. If you understand the right rotation and build, they can really shine.

• Argenti – AoE Physical DPS who is suitable for fast farming.
• Black Swan – Debuffer and damage dealer with good DoT scaling.
• Bronya – A classic buffer that remains relevant in many compositions.
• Boothill – New DPS with high burst potential, but a bit fragile.
• Jade – A unique debuffer/support that can render enemies helpless if used with the right strategy.

Tier B – Situational, But Still Reliable

If you are a F2P player or just starting out, B tier characters are still reliable. Although not as strong as the upper tiers, they still have a place in many teams.

• Dan Heng – Single-target DPS who has been replaced by power creep.
• Hook – A Fire DPS who lost ground to other stronger options.
• Misha – New character but her kit is not competitive enough.
• Natasha – A Healer who is starting to become outdated compared to other options like Bailu.
