Honkai Star Rail Character Tier List Types

Here is the tier scale in Honkai Star Rail:

Tier SS 

That is the character with the best stats, skills, and potential on the battlefield in the game so far.

Phainon, Castorice, The Herta, Feixiao, Sunday, Robin, Tribbie, Hyacine, Huohuo, Gallagher, Aventurine, Dan Heng Permansor Terrae, Fu Xuan.

Tier S 

Is a top class character that players can really rely on in every critical situation and intense battle.

Yao Guang, The Dahlia, Cyrene, Evernight, Anaxa, Cipher, Lingsha, Hysilens, Saber, Archer, Acheron, Mydei, Ruan Mei, Remembrance Trailblazer, Sparkle, Firefly, Fugue, Aglaea, Bronya, Luocha, Kafka, Silver Wolf.

Tier A

He is a fairly reliable character and you can rely on him to be a key member of the team.

Cerydra, Harmony Trailblazer, Jiaoqiu, Topaz & Numby, Pela, Tingyun, Jingliu, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Hunt March 7th, Boothill, Rappa, Jade, Clara, Seele, Argenti, Black Swan, Blade, Jing Yuan, Yunli, Welt.

Tier B 

These are characters who have statistics and abilities that can be said to be standard but are still sufficient and can have their strengths maximized.

Moze, Serval, Asta, Qingque, Dr. Ratio, Gepard, Lynx, Bailu, Himeko, Guinaifen, Xueyi, Herta, Sampo.

Tier C 

This is a character who is still strong enough to help progress in carrying out missions in the game, but is indeed weaker than other characters and not as good as characters with a higher tier.

Preservation Trailblazer, Preservation March 7th, Yukong, Misha, Hanya, Natasha, Luka, Yanqing, Dan Heng, Sushang, Hook, Arlan, Destruction Trailblazer.

Meta Honkai Star Rail Currently February 2026

The current Honkai Star Rail meta is largely centered around the Chrysos Heir team. Team Phainon is currently the strongest team in the game and can crush any enemy, regardless of their weakness type.

Along with him, the HP-draining team led by Castorice is also very strong for the current meta.

For teams outside of Chrysos Heirs, the Follow-Up team ATK has consistently maintained its position at the top of the rankings. 

The team is led by Feixiao, who is currently the best ATK Follow-Up DPS. 

Additionally, with the introduction of The Dahlia, team Break also received a boost in the meta and became viable for builds.

In the future, when the Astral Express enters Planarcadia, we will have characters from the Elation line. 

This will likely bring back Skill Point-heavy DPS units to the forefront of the meta, such as Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae and Archer.
