Changes from its predecessor are visible in the slim body, wide screen diagonal and ultrawide camera resolution of 50 MP.

This smartphone has shrunk compared to its previous version, where the body has a flat frame and curved corners.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is made of glass material, especially on the front and back of the cellphone which uses Gorilla Armor 2, while the frame uses Titanium Grade 5.

By using Gorilla Armor 2 glass material, it is highly anti-reflective and impact resistant from a height of up to 2.2 m to a hard surface.

The body thickness is around 218 grams, which is 14 grams lighter, while the thickness is only 8.2 mm, which is lighter and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The design now has curved corners, the body of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the same size as the palm of your hand so it is more comfortable to hold.

Despite being thinner, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra also has an S-Pen stylus holder so you can insert the S Pen through a small hole under the smartphone frame.

For the color itself, it offers seven color variants such as Titanium Silverblu, Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Whitesilver, Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Jadegreen and Titanium Pinkgold.

The screen itself still continues from the previous version, namely the Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X flat screen.

For resolution, refresh rate and brightness level are still the same, namely having a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hx and brightness level reaching 2600 nits.

With HDR10+ support, it can display sharp visuals, especially when watching movies in Full HD resolution. The fingerprint sensor is also still on the screen, an ultrasonic type that performs quickly and consistently.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra uses the Android 15 software update with the One UI 7 interface, of course with software updates for up to 7 years.

In terms of processor, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC for Galaxy which has a clock speed of up to 4.47 GHz, while the Snapdragon 8 Elite Regular CPU clock speed is a maximum of 4.32 GHz with each of its NPU capabilities having been upgraded.

Specifically for the cooling component, it uses a 40% vapor chamber which keeps the body cool.

Even the synthetic benchmark test achieved a high score, namely on AnTuTu 10, it had a score of 2,207,809.

Geekbench 6 tests recorded scores of 3,057 for single-core and 9,846 for multi-core. Meanwhile, in 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, it recorded a graphics performance score of 6,687.

Performance stability is evident in the CPU Throttling test, which achieved 59%. Meanwhile, GPU performance stability in the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Stress Test reached 47%.

When used to play heavy games, this smartphone only gets warm and never shows any signs of shutter or performance degradation.

In terms of storage, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra offers 12GB of RAM with internal storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. However, it unfortunately lacks an external microSD card slot for expanding its storage capacity.

For the camera, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra uses a 50 MP (f/1.9) ultrawide camera with a Samsung ISOCELL JN3 sensor that can overcome the camera quality deficiencies of the previous version, especially in low light conditions and can experience improved macro capabilities such as close-up photos and can use the flash.

The three rear cameras are a 200 MP main camera (f/1.7, ISOCELL HP2), a 12 MP 3x zoom telephoto camera (f/2.4, Sony IMX754) and a 50 MP 5x zoom telephoto camera (f/3.4, Sony IMX854).

The selfie camera has a resolution of 12 MP (f/2.2) using an ISOCELL 3LU sensor which is equipped with an autofocus feature, both for the selfie camera and the rear camera and the OIS component is found in the main camera and 2 tele cameras.

For video recording, all cameras can produce video at up to 4K resolution at 60 fps. Slow-motion video 4K 120 fps can be recorded through the main camera and ultrawide camera.

Specifically for 8K FPS video, it is only produced from the main camera, ultrawide camera and 5x zoom tele camera.

The photos from this camera are very clear, more colorful, consistent and very detailed even in low light.

Regarding video recording, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's camera stabilization capabilities are extraordinary, especially producing satisfying details, colors and dynamic range.

There's also a noise reduction feature that can mask sounds like water, construction activity, and vehicle noise. This feature is perfect for vlogging, but it's not yet active when recording video in log format.

The flagship feature of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra still emphasizes the capabilities of Galaxy AI, which are both simpler and more complex.

The new thing about the Galaxy AI feature is Now Brief and Now Bar, where Now Brief is a widget that tells you about certain information, while Now Bar is a miniature of Now Brief that is similar to Apple's Dynamic Island by displaying notifications and actions that the smartphone is currently performing.

You can also give prompts via the Now Bar without having to open the application and can record voice.

The AI features in the Gallery also include Audio Eraser to separate and remove background sounds from the main sound, while Best Face is for improving facial photos or changing the focus of the eye gaze.

The battery capacity reaches 5000 mAh and supports the 45 watt fast charging feature or better known as Super Fast Charging 2.0.

Here are the weaknesses of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra:

The S-Pen Functions Are Slightly Different

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra's S-Pen no longer supports Bluetooth, meaning its Air Action feature and remote camera shutter function are unavailable. However, it can still be used for writing, drawing, and navigation.

Should be able to provide more than IP68

With IP68 certification, it's dust-resistant and water-resistant to a certain depth. However, this smartphone could also be rated at IP69 for extra water protection.

The increase is not very significant

This upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra focuses more on the chipset, ultra-wide camera, design, and AI features. The main and telephoto cameras remain the same as the previous version.

Charging is still at 45 Watts

Even though it supports charging up to 45 watts, this is still not fast enough, even though it can use faster charging.

Expensive Flagship Prices

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is priced at a premium, making it less suitable for all users. Therefore, there are several Samsung models that are relatively affordable yet sufficient for everyday needs.
