Land of Dawn Is Not Just a Battle Arena
The Land of Dawn, as the name suggests, is a world beyond just a map name. Think of it like "Westeros" in Game of Thrones. This world has many unique regions with their own characteristics, serving as the "homes" of the heroes.
This world is very diverse, starting from the Moniyan Empire, a magnificent human kingdom and the center of civilization where Lightborn knights like Tigreal and Alucard serve.
Far to the north, lies the frozen, snow-covered Northern Vale, home to fierce warriors such as Franco and aurora.
In contrast to the eastern region, there is the peaceful and oriental-style Cadia Riverlands, a place Zilong, Ling, and the other heroes live in harmony under the protection of The Great Dragon.
On the other hand, there's the Agelta Drylands, a barren desert that holds the tragic story of Khufra and Esmeralda. And of course, there's the Abyss, the deepest chasm, the source of dark power and the origin of monsters like Dyrroth.
So, every time you choose a hero, you choose a representative from one of the epic regions to fight in the arena.
Main Conflict in Twilight Orb
What's the reason all these heroes are fighting? It turns out the great battle in the Land of Dawn didn't just happen! One of the biggest triggers of conflict is the struggle for a powerful ancient artifact called the Twilight Orb.
This artifact is safely hidden within a mysterious labyrinth in the Minoan Kingdom and is closely guarded by the Minotaur race.
The power contained in the Twilight Orb is so powerful that it can disrupt the balance of the world. This was the main reason why many were constantly at war, especially the Moniyan Empire and the Abyss.
They fight not only to win, but to fight for or protect this artifact from the wrong hands.
Sanctuary Lord: The True “Awake” Lord
Whenever a battle reaches its final moments, all players are focused on securing the Lord. However, this giant purple monster isn't just any ordinary jungle monster!
In more recent lore, he is known as the Sanctuary Lord, an ancient guardian entity that is actually dormant in the arena. When a team defeats him, they essentially don't kill him, but rather "awaken" him.
This explains why he can resurrect each match with greater power. So, if you and your team attack Lord, just remember that you're trying to convince the guardian to join your team.
Land of Dawn, Home to Various Races
You often see heroes with diverse appearances, from those with long ears, to those with large, green bodies, to those who are half-horse. This is because the Land of Dawn is a world home to various intelligent races, not just humans.
In the magical Moon Forest, Elves like the majestic Miya and Estes live. Elsewhere, there's the renowned Orc race, represented by Balmond, known for their strength and ferocity. There's also the agile and cute Leonin race like Nana and Harith.
Furthermore, this world is also inhabited by mighty Minotaurs, forest-guarding Centaurs like Hylos, and even angels like Rafaela and Argus. This racial diversity is what makes the Land of Dawn feel so alive.
Minions Are Not Real Troops
Every second of the game, you'll see these little troops we call Minions, right? Well, their mission in the Land of Dawn isn't actually a real army sent to die.
These minions are illusions generated by the energy of the Nexus (the main base building). They are manifestations of the magical power present on the battlefield, automatically created for combat purposes.
They have only one goal: to fearlessly destroy the enemy's turrets and base. So, your battle against Minions is really just you fighting magical energy!
