Meta

Because Badang is a hero synonymous with the hit-and-run meta, there are three best counters. For further clarification, please see the following explanation:

• If your team is confident and has a reliable roamer tank, go for it in the crash meta too! Let EXP and the roamer be the team's "body," and position the damager to get free hits.
• If in doubt, you can reduce Badang's collision with a roamer with high crowd control (CC) capacity and a wide area of effect (AoE) range;
• But if you want to play as safely as possible, you can use the ganking meta and fast rotation to avoid war.

Items

As explained above, because Badang is a fairly sustainable hero with quite annoying immune and CC capacities, you can choose the following items:

• CC Antidote: Because CC Badang gives a fairly long stun effect, you can reduce this effect with a combination of Tough Boots (Movement) and Brute Force Breastplate (Defense);
• Sustain Reducer: Badang also has a massive CC capacity. Therefore, you can counter this by purchasing shield/heal reducing items, such as Dominance Ice (Defense), Sea Halberd (Attack), or Glowing Wand (Magic).
• Physical damage dampener: specifically for Badang damage, you can dampen its physical output by using Defense items such as Antique Cuirass or Blade Armor.
• Miscellaneous: Most Badang users will purchase the Thunder Belt, which you can counter with the Cursed Helmet. You can also complement your build with Immortality for added sustain.

Heroes

With his current capacity, there aren't many natural counters to Badang. However, VCGamers will select a few that you can use:

Jungle

1. Fredrinn: will be a good match against overpowered (OP) heroes with OP heroes. That's why, Fredrinn could be the right choice to withstand Badang collisions;
2. Baxia: This tank-jungler hero with a passive that can reduce sustain capacity is suitable for holding back Badang;
3. Hanzo: his “kuyang” form that can penetrate walls will not affect Badang’s CC.
4. Barats: His ultimate has an immune effect, making him unaffected by Badang's CC skill effects.

3. Belerick: if the timing is right, Badang will fail his ultimate and instead get picked off first;
