Vexana Mechanic

To make it clearer the best way to counter Vexana in MLBB, it's best to first discuss the mechanics. As a midlaner hero, Vexana is a fairly "template" mage.

Like most mages, most of her skills focus on CC output. However, to optimally deal damage, she requires extremely precise combos.

Because of this, most of this mage's defense mechanisms rely on his various active skills. This also limits his mobility.

So, Vexana is better suited to supporting teamfights rather than creating her own setup. And don't be surprised if her escape and dodging methods are heavily reliant on spells.

1. Meta

Ideally, she should be in the back row and out of reach of enemy divers. Furthermore, her limited mobility skills also make her difficult to maneuver.

Therefore, the meta counters you can use are pick-offs and ganking. Force them to deplete their resources first, and they'll become easy targets—you can only hope for their "Lord."

Additionally, you can also use the fast rotation meta: quickly clear waves and back up to the sidelines. This way, Vexana will be overwhelmed and late to join team fights.

2. Hero

It's not difficult to find a hero who can be counters Vexana. Just look for one with high mobility, dive-in capacity, and CC with a wide area of effect (AoE):

• Jungle

1. Fanny: Assuming Fanny isn't "landbound", perhaps Vexana needs to be the global top 1 first before she can restrain Fanny's mobility using her "hand" skills or her ultimate.
2. Lancelot: In the current meta, Lancelot is quite squishy, even for a suppressive tank like Franco. Vexana is clearly his "food."
3. Aamon: Without having to drain his resources, Aamon can quickly pick off Vexana silently.

• Midlane

1. Kadita: The queen of ganking in Kumar mode. With her anti-CC capabilities, Vexana is sure to be too afraid to go near the grass.

In patch 1.9.99, the most valuable anti-magic item is Radiant Armor, which can stack. For anti-CC, just buy Tough Boots + Brute Force Breastplate.
