The last most frequently used character is Clippy. It was created by Microsoft for Microsoft Office 97 and 2003.

As a Microsoft Agent for Microsoft Office, Clippy can help many users with various needs such as writing document text in Microsoft Word and creating presentations in PowerPoint.

Unfortunately, this animated character has received a lot of complaints from users who find it a bit annoying.

This is because Clippy often asks certain questions. For example, when a user wants to write "Dear" a name is added.

Clippy will create a prompt that says “I think you want to write a letter. Do you need help?”.

All of the characters for Microsoft's assistant were then finally deprecated in Microsoft Office 2007.
