Rockstar has finally officially revealed the GTA 6 cover art. After the community could only enjoy rumors and speculation, the wait has paid off with this release.

While fans initially thought they would be getting a third trailer, the devs instead opted to introduce the cover art visuals as a new chapter in the marketing campaign.

They show this through various official channels, including one of them YouTube. In the half-minute video, the iconic style of Rockstar's beloved franchise emerges.

Yup, the comic book collage style is still a loyal companion in this sixth sequel—a GTA trademark that has been ingrained for over 20 years!

In fact, many fans are calling this latest cover one of the coolest in the franchise's history – a well-deserved upgrade since the GTA 5 series.

Lucia and Jason Become the Main Focus

The most striking thing about the cover art GTA 6 The two main protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, are prominent. Both are "perched" right at the top of the logo.

With the tropical feel of Leonida and the Vice City surrounding it, various vehicles such as speedboats, cars, motorbikes, and helicopters also decorate other parts of the cover.

It all revolves around the Roman numeral “VI” logo that Rockstar also elegantly inserted in the middle as a background: further emphasizing the identity of this game.

The Vice City feel is very strong

Looking at the GTA 6 cover art, the Vice City theme and feel are truly felt. Thick neon effects in pink, orange, and blue dominate the entire design.

It looks perfectly in sync with the tropical setting of Miami, Florida, which inspired Leonida. But that's not what really caught viewers' attention.

This is the second time Rockstar has included animals on the cover art of a GTA series – a practice they also used on the cover art of GTA 5.

In the series, the animal that “appears” is a dog, which is a reference to Chop: Lamar Davis' pet Rottweiler entrusted to protagonist Franklin Clinton.

And in the GTA V series, Chop has his own unique gameplay – making the series truly unique. In fact, Rockstar even dedicated an entire mission to the dog!

Now, in GTA 6, right at the bottom center of the logo, the animal that looks even more extreme is an alligator! Wow, what kind of unique missions and gameplay will there be...

Continuing the 25-Year Rockstar Tradition

Another interesting fact about the cover art of this series is its success in maintaining the visual tradition of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, which is often identified with nostalgic vibes.

Rockstar has standardized the collage style since its GTA 3 installment. What's even cooler is that almost all covers also feature a helicopter in the top left corner!

It is thanks to this consistency that many loyal fans feel a sense of nostalgia: returning to the era where they first acquired and played one of the franchise's series.
