Here is a complete guide to uncovering the Easter Egg on the Shattered Veil map in the BO6 Zombies game:
Step 1: Activating Pack-a-Punch
- Enter the Mansion: From the spawn area (Garden Pond), open the path to the Banquet Hall. Focus on opening the doors and heading inside the mansion;
- Search Fuse: Go to the second floor and find the library. There, a Maintenance Worker zombie will appear. Kill him to get one Fuse;
- Take Circuit Board: Go to the Director's Quarters. Look for a computer with a flashing red screen. Shoot it until it breaks and you'll get a Circuit Board;
- Repair the Elevator: After having both items, combine the Fuse and Circuit Board in the elevator behind the Banquet Hall;
- Activate: Take the elevator to the Mainframe Chamber. Here, you can activate the Pack-a-Punch Machine, which is essential for dealing with stronger enemies.
Step 2: Get the Ray Gun Mark II
The Ray Gun Mark II weapon is required to unlock the next stage, and you will earn it through a series of puzzles and battles.
- Wait for Round 10: After reaching round 10, a special zombie named Lab Techincian will appear in the Mainframe Chamber. Kill him to get a Floppy Disk;
- Code Description: Insert the Floppy into the fax machine in the East Foyer, then note the 4 letter code that appears;
- Convert Letters to Numbers: Go to the Nursery and use the conversion board available there to change the four letters into numbers;
- Enter Code: Enter the code into the keypad in the Maintenance Chamber until the cell door opens;
- Get Severed Arm: Defeat the Doppelghast to obtain the Severed Arm;
- Open Armory: Use the arm on the fingerprint scanner in the Supply Depot. The door opens and you can take the Ray Gun Mark II.
Step 3: Upgrade Ray Gun Mark II-W (Water Variant)
- Empty Canister: Shoot the blue crystals in areas scattered around the map until one of them drops an Empy Canister;
- Shem's Henge: Take the canister to the area near Speed Cola and place it on the Shem's Henge altar;
- Portal Ritual: Aim the Abomination creature's laser at the large stone on the altar. After being hit three times, the stone will float and a portal will appear.
- Explosive Canister: Fight off waves of Vermin attacks. Once completed, the canister will transform into an Explosive Canister;
- Upgrades: Return to Supply Depot and insert the canister to convert the Ray Gun Mark II to the Mark II-W variant.
Step 4: Upgrade Ray Gun Mark II-P (Psychic Variant)
- Empty Canister: Use Kazimir's LT53 (gravity device) and throw it into the zombie hole in the Rear Patio to make a canister appear;
- Take 2 Reflectors: The first location is at the fountain near the Conservatory and the second is at the Southwest Balcony;
- Search for Essence Bomb: You can find Essence Bomb from white coffin marked JANUS;
- Open the Secret Room: Use the bomb to blow up the wall in the Service Tunnels;
- Laser Puzzles: Aim the laser from the weapon at the crystal using the reflectors. Attack the crystal to start a battle against three Doppelghasts;
- Take Light Canister: After winning, a canister will appear. Take it to the Director's Quarters to upgrade to the Mark II-P.
Step 5: Upgrade Ray Gun Mark II-R (Radiation Variant)
- Empty Canister: In the Service Tunnel, destroy valves A and B, then throw a Molotov into the glass room. A canister will appear;
- Search Plant Seeds: Destroy Dark Aether plants with explosives to get Plant Seeds;
- Plant and Care: Plant Plant Seeds in the Conservatory incubator and keep them from being destroyed by zombies;
- Upgrades: After growing get the Toxic Canister and craft the Ray Gun Mark II-R at the Garden Pond.
Steps 6-8: Complete Three Liminal Trials
Liminal Trial 1: Distillery (For Mark II-W)
- Take Sconce: Pick up from Banquet Hall;
- Simon Says Puzzle: In the Grand Foyer, complete the puzzle by following the sequence of lights;
- Portals and Battles: Enter the portal then defeat the Mangler using the Mark II-W;
- Present: Get Sentinel Artifact #1.
Liminal Trials 2: Serpent Mound (For Mark II-P)
- Activate Portal: Use the altar in the Banquet Hall;
- Elixir Ritual: Take from Bottlery;
- Defeat Elder Disciple: Face three Elder Disciples at once;
- Final Ritual: Place the Antleer Carving on the purple altar. Defeat the red Elder Disciple;
- Present: Sentinel Artifact #2.
Liminal Trial 3: Library (For Mark II-R)
- Enter Portal: Defeat zombies with the Mark II-R to open a portal;
- Use Aether Shroud: Get ID Badge, Augio Log, and Ledger;
- Book Puzzle: Touch the sequence of lit books until the secret room opens;
- Boss Fight: Defeat Amalgam;
- Present: Sentinel Artifact #3.
Step 9: Final Boss Fight – Against Z-Rex
Preparation:
- Ray Gun Mark II-W (PaP Tier 3),
- All Perk-a-Cola complete,
- Chopper Gunner and Aether Shroud,
- Tier 3 Armor.
Starting the Fight:
Use the terminal in front of the SAM (Sentinent Aeter Machine) in the Mainframe Chamber to start the fight.
Strategy Against Z-Rex:
- Focus on attacking the body parts that light up, especially the Z-Rex's eyes,
- Use Chopper Gunner during the final phase for a big attack,
- Activate Aether Shorud to avoid deadly attacks when blood is dying.
Once the Z-Rex is defeated, a cinematic cutscene will appear. Thus, you have completely completed the “Shattered Veil” Easter Egg.
Black Ops Shattered Veil Easter Egg Completion Rewards
When completing the Easter Egg from the Shattered Veil map in Black Ops 6, you will get several unique items, including a Carver skin called PhDeadly Operator, an exclusive Calling Card, and 5,000 EXP.
For additional information, PhDeadly is a skin inspired by the iconic Pentagon Thief character on the “Five” map from Black Ops 1. Furthermore, this skin includes signature glasses, a bag containing a mini T-Rex skull, and a miniature SAM.
