Sora's Skill Explanation

The hero Sora is inspired by Luffy, the main character in One Piece. He has three skill modes: Default, Thunder, and Torrent. 

All three present distinct fighting styles and offer incredible flexibility. Here's a breakdown of Sora's skills:

Passive – Mystic Surge

Every time you damage a hero or summon an enemy, Sora will get 1 stack of Cloudstep. 

When it reaches 5 stacks, he can go into Thunder or Torrent mode when using his ultimate. 

In Thunder mode, extra HP is converted into Physical Attack, making him an assassin; while Torrent mode converts the Attack bonus into Max HP, making him more of a tank. 

Skill 1 – Default: Sundering Strike

Sora attacks twice with physical damage then lunges for additional damage based on Total HP. 

After attacking, he can dash again. This rapid succession of attacks is very similar to the style luffy when doing Gomu Gomu no Gatling.

Skill 1 – Thunder: Thunder Flash

In Thunder mode, this skill changes to a four-shot attack, followed by a lunge with massive physical damage. 

Sora is also free to move during the animation—a mechanic that gives Luffy's Gear Second feel as his speed and aggression increase drastically.

Skill 1 – Torrent: Overwhelm

In Torrent mode, the first hit deals slow and greater damage, followed by a lunge that provides a short stun.

Skill 2 – Default: Windstride

Sora jumps forward to deal damage, then hits the ground which deals additional and slow damage. If it hits a hero, the cooldown is reduced. 

Skill 2 – Thunder: Thunder Rush

The Thunder version has Sora summon a thunderstorm after jumping, dealing double area damage while also slowing enemies. It's perfect for setting up a quick burst.

Skill 2 – Torrent: Skyfall

In Torrent mode, Sora jumps and then bounces enemies back before hitting the ground, delivering an airborne attack. 

This is a powerful CC skill that makes Hero Sora also suitable to be played as an offlaner or semi-tank.

Ultimate – Default: Shifting Skies

This Ultimate allows Sora to choose a transformation. Swipe left to enter Thunder, granting movement speed and massive burst damage. 

Swipe right to enter Torrent, pulling in enemies and dealing area damage. This is the core of Sora's flexible gameplay.

Ultimate – Thunder: Heaven's Wrath

Sora leaps into the air and attacks the target area 15 times. The damage per hit is small, but this rapid succession of attacks truly feels like the MLBB version of Gomu Gomu no Gatling.

Ultimate – Torrent: Stormbind

Torrent Mode makes Sora hit a wide area, dealing massive damage 10 times and slowing down. 

Sora can move freely while using this skill.

Hero Counter Sora

Arlot

Arlot is a Fighter hero who has high burst damage, so he can be relied on to withstand Sora's damage. 

In addition, Arlot can also provide knockback and slow effects which will make Sora's movements difficult. 

By doing so, Arlot will force Sora to retreat or lose the momentum of transforming into Thunder or Torrent mode.

You have to make good use of Arlot's Shadow Strike and Phantom Rush skills because they can stick to Sora throughout the game.

Thamuz
