Genshin Impact Flins Build Recommendation: Skills, Artifacts, Party

As the second character released in Nod-Krai Genshin Impact, Flins' build adds a new mechanic for the new Lunar-charged elemental reaction.

The characters released in the second part of this update have become a hot topic because some people think these characters are... mid without Ineffa's support. However, some say this character is quite OP.

This character, whose real name is Kyryll Chudomirovich Flins, is the first male character released for the new Nod-Krai region.

Flins is a Ratnik or Lightkeeper, where this faction is tasked with eradicating monsters from the Abyss known as the Wild Hunt.

If you have completed the Archon Quest for Luna I, you will know that Flins is not an ordinary human but from the Snowland Fae nation.

The Snowland Fae faction or nation is a nation that was once the native people of Snezhnaya

Flins, formerly, was a nobleman known as “Kyryll the Azure Flame” in the Snezhnaya era led by the first Cryo Archon, Belyi Tsar.

After the throne passed to the Tsaritsa, this character disappeared. Currently, he is better known as Ratnik, the guardian of the Final Night Cemetery, after being rescued by Sousi, who became his superior in the Lightkeeper.

Prioritizing Skills and Talent Rotation

When it comes to Meta, Flins is a DPS character on-field Lunar-charged which according to the author gives large DMG even though it is not maximized during the process build.

The reason some players consider Flins mid most likely stems from 3 common mistakes that affect Flins' potential, namely:

  • Rotation error in using Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.
  • Using “DMG buff” artifacts or support which gives “Elemental DMG Buff”.
  • Error support and rotation party.

Flins relies heavily on Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst due to its Lunar-charged gameplay generated through these two abilities.

Therefore, the main priority of talents that you should maximize the level of is Elemental Skill = Elemental Burst.

Next is the correct rotation of the use of these two talents, namely:

  • Support characters use Elemental Skill/ Burst
  • Flins uses Elemental Skill
  • Using the second special Elemental Skill
  • Using Special Elemental Burst
  • Normal Attacks to wait cooldown Elemental Skill time
  • Using Elemental Skills
  • Using Special Elemental Burst
  • back to support character

This rotation maximizes the application and triggers Lunar-charged constantly even though you won't see the animation of Flins' regular Elemental Burst.

The difference between the special Elemental Burst and Flins' regular Elemental Burst is the icon mark on the “Elemental Burst” button along with the animation.

The regular Elemental Burst will of course show animations like other Genshin Impact characters and is marked with a mask-like icon.

Meanwhile, the special Elemental Burst will take the form of plunging or electric shock.

When using this Elemental Burst, Flins will lose animation, replaced by movement. plunging or jump from above and deal huge DMG.

Recommended Build Flins Genshin Impact

Gameplay and mechanics build Flins is indeed prone to mistakes that can have significant consequences on the damage dealt. After understanding the rotation and priority of his abilities,

Constellation Recommendations

The author currently has Flins with Constellation 0 (C0) and is satisfied with the DMG it provides.

However, (C1), (C2), and (C4) could be suitable Constellations for you to pursue because they provide buff which is big on both of Flins' talents and makes them even stronger.

Artifact and Weapon Recommendations

The next mistake that the author mentioned earlier was using artifacts with “Electro DMG Bonus” or support which gives elemental buff DMG.

Lunar-charged, is a development of Electro-charged where Crit and ATK have a greater influence on DMG than the Elemental DMG bonus.

Because it is included in transformative reactions such as Electro-charged and Superconduct, Flins certainly still needs Elemental Mastery even though it is not the main priority.

Recharging energy is also essential for frequent use of Elemental Burst. So, if we're talking about... The priority stats are: Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK, Elemental Mastery, and Energy Recharged.

For the size ATK minimum 2000, Crit rate/DMG ratio 1:2, minimum Elemental Mastery 600 – 800, and minimum Energy Recharged 150%.

Night of the Sky's Unveiling 4-PC become the best artifact for Flins because it is dedicated to this character.

Furthermore, what the author thinks is good is the use of Gilded Dreams 4-PC as an alternative to Flins because it has an ATK buff mechanism similar to Night of the Sky's Unveiling.

You can use Thundering Fury 4-PC, Marechaussee Hunter 4-PC, or Berserker even though the results are less optimal than the previous 2 artifact sets.

Bloodsoaked Ruins of course that becomes banners The weapon along with the Flins is the best weapon. Other alternatives are:

  • Staff of the Scarlet Sands
  • Primordial Jade Winged-Spear
  • Missive Windspear (F2P Friendly)
  • Prospector's Shovel (F2P Friendly)
  • Fractured Halo
  • Staff of Homa
  • Deathmatch
  • The Catch
  • Kitain Cross Spear

Team Recommendations for Flins

This section also addresses Flins' need for support from Ineffa. Does Flins need Ineffa? According to the author, Ineffa is a suitable support character for Flins because it increases the Lunar-charged reaction interval.

But would Flins be bad without Ineffa's support? The answer is no. As long as you use the right artifacts and, most importantly, rotate your talents, Flins will deal good damage.

Without Ineffa, you can use the support of the Aino character which you can get for free after completing one of the Quests from the Archon Quest section.

Recipe for party Flins is:

  • Has Electro + Hydro support to trigger reactions
  • Use Anemo support that can increase (buff) EM such as Sucrose or Kazuha (not mandatory if EM Flins are fulfilled)

The recommended teams you can use are:

  • Flins + Ineffa + Yelan + Kazuha
  • Flins + Ineffa + Aino + Sucrose
  • Flins + Fischl + Xingqiu + Sucrose
  • Flins + Kuki Shinobu + Aino + Candace
  • Flins + Ororon + Mona + Kazuha
  • Flins + Ineffa + Furina + Sucrose
