Synopsis of Hajime no Ippo

This anime follows the story of a teenager named Ippo Makunoichi who always works hard to help his mother run a boat rental business.

His shy nature, shabby appearance, and lingering sea odor made Ippo a target for bullying. He was often beaten and bruised daily.

One day, while being bullied by his friends, Ippo was helped by Mamoru Takamura, a rising boxer.

Takamura then took him to the Kamogawa Boxing Gym to treat Ippo's injuries. There, along with fellow boxers Masaru Aoki and Tatsuya Kimura, Ippo was impressed by his powerful punches.

From then on, Ippo trained diligently under Takamura. With his hard work, he managed to impress many other boxers when he faced the talented fighter, Ichirou Miyata.

With his first steps into the world of boxing, Ippo faced many opponents who were not only challenging but also very strong.

With a strong body and a burning spirit, the once bullied young man is now determined to conquer the world through boxing.
