What is Murkwater Catacombs?
Murkwater Catacombs is one of the dungeons small dungeon that you can find in the Limgrave region in the Elden Ring game. Although its size is not as big as other dungeons, this place has its own charm for players. So, don't underestimate it, okay!
This dungeon is optional, meaning you don't have to enter here to complete the main story. However, if you're curious and want to get cool treasure items, or want a challenge against a miniboss enemy, this location is the right place to explore.

How To Go Murkwater Catacombs
The Murkwater Catacombs are located at the end of a long watery ravine in the central area of the Limgrave region. This place is a bit hidden, but it's not too hard to reach if you know the way.
There are two main ways to get there, and we'll cover both of them below.
First Way: Pass Under the Big Bridge
- Starting from Lake Agheel
First, you need to head to the eastern area of Lake Agheel. Here, you will find a large bridge that crosses the lake. - Beware of the Rising Skeleton
When you walk under the bridge, be careful of the skeletons that rise again. They are not very strong, but they can disrupt your journey if you are not careful. - Face the NPC Invasion
After passing the skeletons, be prepared to face the NPC invasion that appears soon after. Make sure your character is ready with the best weapons and armor to fight this enemy. - Follow the Watery Abyss
After successfully passing NPCs, follow the long watery chasm that will lead you straight to the Murkwater Catacombs.
Second Way: Jump from the Top of the Abyss
- Climbing Over the Chasm
If you want a faster and more exciting way, you can climb up the cliff. Look for a high area around Limgrave that is close to the cliff. - Use Torrent
Summon your Torrent Spectral Mount. This mount will help you jump down from a cliff safely. - Take Advantage of the Tombstone Platform
When jumping, look for large tombstone platforms that jut out from the cliff. These will help soften your fall, so you don't have to worry about free-falling. - Arriving in Front of the Catacombs
After successfully descending, you will immediately find the outer area of the Murkwater Catacombs.
Boss Fight Tips (Graveyard Duelist)
Once you arrive, you will face the Duelist boss. They have deadly attacks that can overwhelm you if you are not prepared.
Beware of Long Range Attacks
If you're the type of player who likes to fight from a distance, watch out! The Graveyard Duelist has a big jumping attack that can catch you by surprise.
He will jump towards you and slam his giant hammer into the ground. This attack has a large area of effect, so make sure you time it well to dodge.
Face the Increased Damage Buff
Once the Graveyard Duelist's health drops to around half, he will buff himself.
