CD Projekt Red mengumumkan sekuel terbaru untuk salah satu <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>terkenal<\/span> mereka yaitu The Witcher.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sebelumnya melakukan <\/span>update <\/span><\/i>besar-besaran untuk <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>Cyberpunk 2077<\/a> pada Februari 2022 kemarin, Projekt Red kembali melanjutkan proyek terbarunya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Game yang populer pada tahun 2007 ini sudah memiliki beberapa sekuel lainnya yaitu The Witcher, The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, dan The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pengumuman ini disambut dengan baik oleh para penggemar seri ini mengingat seri ketiga yaitu The Wild Hunt dirilis terakhir pada 2015 lalu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pengumuman Seri Baru The Witcher<\/h2>\n

The Witcher adalah <\/span>game<\/span><\/i> RPG <\/span>action fantasy<\/span><\/i> yang dikembangkan oleh CD Projekt Red dan diterbitkan oleh CD Projekt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Game <\/span><\/i>ini didasarkan pada seri buku dengan nama yang sama oleh penulis Polandia Andrzej Sapkowski, dan bertindak sebagai sekuel dari cerita buku.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bercerita mengenai tokoh utama bernama Gerald of Rivia, salah satu Witch yang masih bisa bertahan di Continent tempatnya tinggal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gerald belajar menjadi pemburu monster (<\/span>monster slayer<\/span><\/i>) di sekolah Witcher bernama \u201cSchool of The Wolf.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Diketahui bahwa sekolah tersebut adalah salah satu sekolah yang dibangun oleh kelompok Sorcerer untuk melindungi lingkungan Continent dari serangan Monster yang menghantui Continent tersebut.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Monster diketahui muncul akibat adanya tabrakan dimensi \u201cThe Conjunction of Spheres.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Seri yang sudah memiliki beberapa sekuel, <\/span>spin off games. <\/span><\/i>Film adaptasi The Witcher<\/span><\/a> dan juga media lain seperti adaptasi Netflix<\/a> ini sangat populer dan memenangkan beberapa penghargaan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pengumuman mengenai seri terbaru <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>ini diumumkan pada lama resmi CD Projekt<\/a> pada 21 Maret 2022 lalu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Terkait kapan <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>ini akan dirilis atau pun judul aslinya juga masih belum bisa kita dapatkan. Mengingat <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>The Witcher ini baru pada tahap awal pengembangan <\/span>game<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mekanisme <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>pun belum juga diketahui pasti detail lengkap <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>tersebut akan seperti apa mengingat pengumuman yang dikeluarkan oleh Projekt Red baru mencangkup gambar official.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gambar Official tersebut hanya memperlihatkan foto sebuah medallion yang bentuknya tidak diketahui apa. <\/span>Medallion di Continent digunakan untuk menggambarkan berbagai sekolah yang ada termasuk School of the Wolf.<\/span><\/p>\n

Namun satu hal yang pasti seri terbaru ini akan melakukan kerja sama dengan Epic Games untuk membuat teknologi baru.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kerja sama yang dilakukan antara Projekt Red dan Epic Games adalah bentuk sebuah kemitraan dimana <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>selanjutnya untuk CD Projekt Red akan menggunakan teknologi Unreal Engine yaitu teknologi terbaru Unreal Engine 5.<\/span><\/p>\n
Diketahui sampai saat ini Unreal Engine terbaru adalah Unreal Engine 4 seperti yang digunakan oleh <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>Hyper Front<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
Sampai saat ini diketahui bahwa semua <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>CD Projekt Red seperti Cyberpunk 2077 maupun The Witcher 2 dan 3 <\/span>menggunakan REDengine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perpindahan teknologi dari REDengine<\/a> ke Unreal Engine 5 adalah awal kerja sama dalam bentuk kemitraan antara CD Projekt Red dan Epic Games untuk beberapa tahun ke depan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
Pertanyaan mengenai apakah sistem ini juga akan digunakan pada Cyberpunk 2077 juga dijawab oleh CD Projekt Red bersamaan dengan perilisan berita ini.<\/span><\/p>\n
CD Projekt Red memberikan pernyataan klarifikasi bahwa seri terbaru The Witcher dan <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>baru lainnya yang akan menggunakan Unreal Engine 5 ini.<\/span><\/p>\n
Cyberpunk 2077 beserta ekspansi <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>berikutnya tetap akan menggunakan REDengine dan tidak mengalami perubahan.<\/span><\/p>\n
CTO CD Projekt Red yaitu Pawel Zawodny mengatakan bahwa CD Projekt Red akan membutuhkan penentuan arah teknis game perusahaan mereka berikutnya dari fase sedini mungkin.<\/span><\/p>\n
Zawodny menambahkan bahwa Projekt Red kewalahan dalam mengembangkan dan mengadaptasi REDengine untuk setiap <\/span>game <\/span><\/i>yang dirilis oleh perusahaan sehingga sulit bagi CD Projekt Red untuk fokus dalam mengembangkan <\/span>game<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n
