The first Big Match match in MPL ID Season 12 took place in the first match week, the third day to be precise. Major parties that brought together the 'King of Kings' Team: RRQ<\/a>, against the 'King of the Sky' Squad, ONIC! Yep, the RRQ vs ONIC match was eagerly awaited by many parties.<\/p>\n

Of course all MPL ID connoisseurs will be looking forward to this game. Not only are the two of them the biggest teams in the professional MLBB competition in Indonesia, but they also saw the strongest roster move RRQ<\/a> into the ONIC camp: Albert Nielsen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The audience is curious and wants to see how Albert will perform when he has to fight the former team that raised him. Will Albert be all in? Or is he still 'carried away' and slightly holding back his 'magic'?<\/p>\n

Like other Regular Season matches, this time the Royal Derby will be held in a \u201cbest of 3\u201d (BO3) format. This means that the team that scores 2 wins first will be the winner.<\/p>\n
In the opening match, RRQ controlled the MPL Arena at home, while ONIC came as an away team. Even so, ONIC's presence brought the title of champion\u00a0MSC 2023<\/a> making it more favored by many people, both the audience and the talent side.<\/p>\n

Starting from the first match in the first match of the Royal Derby, ONIC performed brilliantly! They showed their MSC 2023 performance again at the MPL Arena venue tonight. Kiboy who got his hero power, Kufra, appeared so aggressive.<\/p>\n

In the draft pick match phase this time, RRQ's strategy seems eager to kill Kairi's move by banning assassins from the Jungler's power heroes. And with their advantage, the yellow hedgehog team felt more confident going into the second match.<\/p>\n
This is shown by releasing the hero pick Kufra and instead taking the Minotaur for Kiboy. Not missing this opportunity, Naomi, the imported roamer belonging to RRQ, took advantage of the gaps to take the tank hero.<\/p>\n

With the positions of the two teams balanced, the MPL Arena roared with the screams of the fans from each team: SONIC and Kingdom! The performance shown by both teams was truly classy: the title of the strongest team in MPL ID deserves to be pinned on both of them!<\/p>\n
In the closing match of the third day this time, ONIC returned to using the hit meta fighter, based on the Bane core fighter used by Kairi. Uniquely, they seem to want to find victory in an earlier phase!<\/p>\n
This is shown by replacing the goldlaner position with the role Mage (Harith) for CW. Again, as if they didn't want to be affected by ONIC's game, RRQ remained 'steadfast' with the hit meta tank like in the previous match.<\/p>\n
Even though in theory ONIC should be superior in the early-mid phase, the facts are not like that. From the beginning of the match, ONIC looked quite desperate. RRQ, who managed to push ONIC into the late game, seemed to have the upper hand with Brody as Skylar's goldlaner hero of choice.<\/p>\n
Even though Kiboy's penetration and dive-in were truly terrible, the roamer has not been able to produce maximum results. The opposing team's marksman that he targets is protected very well by the other team members so that he always manages to shake up the MSC 2023 MVP's movements.<\/p>\n
So with discipline that RRQ continues to maintain well, it's not surprising that in the end they can continue to push ONIC and destroy their base!<\/p>\n
